    I'd rather tie a bungee rope to my genitals and jump down from a skyscraper with picture of naked golden girls sewn inside my eye lids. Anyways... I've got the BC2 running just perfect with not much hassle with server browsing. I just don't understand why crossing the punkbuster from filter does not affect anything? Still... after some casual game of "empty the shotgun in his face and see him laugh and kill you" I usually switch off and go play L4D2 with some friends if not in A2 mood.

    ArmA II and money's worth.

    OK, so adjusting that from my point of view: I would have paid 100€ for this gem. However I did pay approx 35€ and I've made some MP missions freely for the community. Should I now count how many more missions are required from me to demand BI those 35€ back? How about no.... Good grief :confused:

    I played last night some and steam updated the game. Then I selected browser with filter for "PunkBuster" but it just kept showing all the non-punkbuster ones as well. I had to manually check from each server does it have it on or off. Great filtering...

It does not count the presence of fuel truck anymore because it was sometimes malfunctioning. Now it detects the presence of player in chopper and it's availability to move. (Exit the Hind at carrier to end mission.) - Task 1: Ambush convoy and secure support trucks - Task 2: Refuel the Mi-24 - Task 3: Fly the Mi-24 to aircraft carrier (This is based on one of my old flaspoint missions which I did not publish) I hope you enjoy it.     Thirsk Island

    Tried the islands today. Very impressive work! Please do NOT reduce the snow sound when walking... I think it sounds just as in real life. When over -20 degrees it does crunch quite loud under feet. Itching to construct some missions already... :)

    I've enjoyed this game very much so far. However last night I came across some odd issue... can't say a hacker 'cos I'm not sure but: I came across a recon... shot him twice close range with shotgun and knifed him also... no effect. He then knifed me. This happened twice with the same guy... Annoying ....or do I just suck that bad?? ;)

    I finally solved the connection issues on my behalf!! I've been using sygate firewall...never issues with it before. Now I enabled windows firewall and closed sygate: Bingo. All servers accessible.....finally :)

    I've still only managed 5 games so far... Usually 1 kill / 8 deaths if lucky. Maybe I'm just too old for this kind of game type :) I love the atmosphere though but it is kinda frustrating being on level 1 and being run over by 5 level 48 snipers who act as spearhead.. and like previous posts indicate this is always the biggest flaw in these kind of games... nothing but sniper wannabees around. One match was different luckily and I got to also experience some excellent teamwork. I need to practice more to get the hang of this. :)

    Well, I have a steam version which I purchased after the beta was closed. I can't at least find any beta folder inside the application folders. Btw, it's not fair that US players got to start earlier..... it's too hard for me to rush against their railguns with my sling.. hehe :rolleyes:

    I'm not even level 1..... I've got into 4 games so far. Otherwise it's been "kicked by PB", "Can't connect to EA" or then just clicking on server and nothing happens. I did make the "pbsec.htm" into pb file but I'm too pissed off to try the game for awhile. :(

    Are you using steam version? I had same issue first when I started yesterday... try crossing the punkbuster off from server browsing and just retry.. I got into games eventually (I'm cannonfodder to those BF2 veterans, lol) Although still experiencing odd things like "server full" announcements even if there's only 3/18 players etc...

    [SP/COOP] Altar Pieces

    Played this through last night with 2 friends. Very intense and good feeling. I played as the tank commander, lost the other tanks except my own and made a flanking manouver at the end and took out the arty outpost. We enjoyed it very much. The radio chatter makes it really feel like "being there" 2 thumbs. :)
  20. Hint does not belong to conditions. Condition defines under what terms something (like a hint) happens. You do not need trigger that large to do that. If you want to use a trigger for a hint just use 5x5 and place it over some unit and use activated by "Anybody" / Condition "this" /On activation "Hint bla bla bla" And try separating targets in the other trigger !(alive T1) && !(alive T2) && !(alive T3) ....etc
