    The notes section is done by "Taskmaster" which is mainly designed for dedicated use and dedicated is the main target I make my missions. @TheScar: Yeah, I will add some music atmosphere as well. I've been doing some fixing and tuning and have some other ideas as well like attaching ammobox/sandbags to vehicles. Problem with adding custom music is that the file size rockets skyhigh. Like when I used "Cowboys from hell" in the mission named by the song. (I think that was the last mission I made for vanilla A2) But I'll see if I could jinx some extra in it... Yeah, I was wondering about the vehicle service point because it is Takistani side object. ;)

    :clap: Actually I tried to set the IED so that it only spooks you. (A second IED?? wot?) Maybe I should tune it to go off a tad earlier. I only meant it for a "changing underwear" effect... since it's not all there's after that. :rolleyes: Maybe I'll come and assist you sometime. Thanks for the feedback m8. (Nice pics btw) :)

    Mission Plot

    Sounds very good. You did not specify if it's SP or COOP mission though... If it's COOP maybe one playable unit could be added as a field reporter witnessing the first advance of enemy units. Even if he's unarmed he could have options for example to sabotage a fuel depot used by the advancing units? Also an action for US engineers (if any present with the team) to build sandbags could be handy. For the plot I have nothing to add. It's well constructed. :)

    You have to specify all playable units. If you follow the readme closely you should be fine. @j4ck3ss: erm....not sure what you want. I don't think you have to group the playable units for it to work if that's what you mean..

    The movie had good FX but story nearly made me puke..... Maybe they could do it over again but this time film from another perspective than US (as it always tends to be) C'mon!! I want some drunken swedes fighting the slugs with JAS gripen (for example) :D

    Yeah, the revive version (0.49b) seems a tad bugged and I'll do an update when it's fixed. Good note about the service station. I'll make a mental note of that also for possible update. Yeah, we've only managed to play through it once and there were 6 of us playing then. PM me if you want a version for yourself where revive is changed so that it does not end when all players unsconscious. That is easily changed.

    Yeah, I noticed the AI revivers are bloody lazy sometimes. (There are some bugs in revive which hopefully get sorted by norrin.... I'll update the mission then) The bus has 4 different locations it can be in (all in that village). Playing alone one could have AI spearhead with M2-humvee and secure the road ahead maybe. One tactic could be trying to take out the AT-checkpoint and use D-30 to pound the HQ and then go get the keys and so on... However, prepare for additional nastyness after that. :)
  9. Hi huys. The problem: Is there a way to detect in a script if player already has certain action added? The issue comes up when I reassign satellite view via norrins revive script. It works of course but if an AI unit revives another unit or I revive someone I get added additional "Sat view" action. The additional ones get deleted when I use the action so it's not a big deal but still a bit annoying. I wish there was an "hasAction" command for this...     Well, your rewrite seems to be doing the trick I was after! It's still giving the message "re-enabling satellite" but now I don't get piled up "Sat View" actions when someone revives a unit. I'll test it on dedicated to be sure but I hope this is it. I know you don't understand why it's so but it's a bit complicated since I re-run it through the revive script. :) I removed the "_hasIt" stuff.....

    Well, I can't script. Period. That must be why... :( It does not give error messages anymore but does not work either. No action comes up anymore. (I have the "ACT" also defined in init.sqf)

    Graphics Card Upgrade? No Way!

    It's funny but I still have 8800GTS by EVGA and I have no need for a new card. Of course I can't run the game with highest settings but good enuff to keep me happy.

    This is just so simple and brilliant at the same time. This solved my problem in a WIP mission to magically have a roadblock with units in a place that was empty before. (without having to create them) Kiitos! :bounce3:

    You can start by reading from here: http://www.ofpec.com/tutorials/index.php?action=view&id=212 Basically you can make your own parameters what ever you feel like. If you mean an intro parameter for skipping it then: http://www.ofpec.com/forum/index.php?topic=33643.0 I have actually my own solution which involves no parameter but the intro won't show for JIP player who join in after the intro has ran once.

  24. Yeah, but regardless of reasons this would mean only that CM laughs on the way to a bank and you lose. I mean , if you'd get a refund CM will still get +1 on the sales? :confused:
  25. Yeah, I had to once register there just to ask how come they just take hook line and sinker and let themselves get bum-raped by CM over and over.. Of course that got me banned but I just had to go in and ask.
