No i actualy did, you were going fanboy on him because he is complaining that the game actualy has problems and he is trying to point them out. Fine lets all be quiet. BIS: ArmA2 is perfect, nothing is wrong with it, for ArmA3 all you have to do is improve the graphics, nothing is wrong, the driver AI is perfect, vehicle damage models are unbelievably realistic, soldier AI is undestinguishable from humans etc. I have yet herd of a game with no problems, and ArmA2 aint no exeption. And nowhere did i notice a "Fix this or i wont buy the game" in his post... -

Erm, what T-70 are you refering to. The russian WW2 light tank or something? Only tank i know is the T-72 and thats a realy realy realy low tank. Not to mention it likes to stuff its gunners as ammo thanks to the autoloader That would be a nice feature :p And tanks dont run each other over lol, as i said T-72 vs Abrams is no match, it would get wasted before it knew what happaned. -

Not just objects, stuff like putting people in vehicles is a ass... Name unit, then type "unit moveincargo transport" and copy pasting it and chainging names etc. Couldnt you just make it a button like synchronise or groups. Select where to go and pull on where you want it to be... -
Im not an expert but on Future weapons they had a calculator for adjusting the aim and it had the coriolis effect as an issue ---------- Post added at 09:15 PM ---------- Previous post was at 09:13 PM ---------- Oh, someone whos an expert on this should explain. I know in OFP elite you adjusted the distance by zooming in and out, like at max zoom if your firing very near the bullet would go skywards. Dont know if this is in ArmA2, preaty sure it is ---------- Post added at 09:18 PM ---------- Previous post was at 09:15 PM ---------- Then only snipers would have to be affected, since eaven if the round went like 0,5mm to the right it would still have to calculate that and that wouldnt help performace :D So it would have to be reserved to sniper rifles, tank cannons, heavy machineguns and artilery (long range weaponry) and eaven then you would have real problems with performance. So i realy dont mind not having them.

Well i only played the first mission and nothing else, didnt eaven finish that. So i dont know, never realy gave it a go. I hope for a comunity port of the CWC campaing (same missions just in chernarus) or a new campaing.

Well imagine, 40 guys with 800rpm rifles, 8 or so guys with support weapons, helis with rotary cannons, tanks etc. and all those rounds would have to have coriolis effect and wind deflection + gravity calculated... What next? A realistic penetration system and realisticly modeled airplane aerodynamics and handeling etc. Ye sure, anyone got a spare CIA supercomputer i can use to play?

Lol the campaign in OFP and Resistance was the best ive ever played... There was just that fealing of being expendable... And when you got killed and the cam slowly zoomed out and showed you were just a small cog in a giant war machine... I didnt get that fealing anywhere else. And theres just something epic bout going against the commies and knowing that your next mission could end in a massive mushroom cloud :D

Well they can just fall (not jump, read: FALL, as in riding the wall and then falling on the other side) over the wall and then stay prone on the other side, that would be nice if your under heavy fire. Also id like to see an animation for a soldier loosing his footing and falling on his private parts just for the laugh -

The M134 is a 7.62, the thing is it fires 2000 round per minute, and has evrey 5th round a tracer so you get this spectacular stream of lead, witch i failed to notice in arma2 :( Its also so fucking stiff!!!!! I cant keep it on a vehicle while the chopper flys by cuz its so slow to move :butbut: -

This?! Lulziez, this is a major facepalm moment. Bullets drop -_- You know that gravity thing your phyics teacher teaches in school? Like, why you always fall down when you trip or why we aint all flying around into space... I dont think bullets get a no gravity pass... 27 inches in 200 yards on a huntin rifle.

*Bigger guns* And bigger aint better. The abrams was 1 generation ahead of the T-72 with much more advanced technology implemented (Thermal sights, laser rangefinders, du rounds etc.) + Iraqies were untrained, un motivated and eaven by some modern sources outnumbered. But in any way, the T72 is no match for any Abrams version (not M1, not M1A1, and certainly not the M1A2) . And the M1s gun could blow the T72 up at 3km, while the T72 were only EFECTIVE up to 1.8km... A bigger gun is not the better one, the one that fires a faster projectile, is more accurate, uses better ammo is the better one... -

I remember in OFP:E when i played CWC campaing on the first mission one nade killed 3 guys from my squad inclouding the black sargent (whats his name again?) and on the second mission i lost k guy thats annoying in the chopper on the first mission etc. :D It was stupid to always have them get revivied after each mission. Guess thats the curse of gaming. Youd have to make a insanely effective AI and truckloads of dialogue to be able to make a realistic story based campaign so that you could still loose men when they werent intended to go. -

Im preaty sure this was probably suggested, but why dont you like make a road, 2 lines the AI always follows (each side) and each vehicle has like a elyptical "dont you dare come here" area witch the AI would avoid. Im all go for loosing it, tho i still have it on but i dont use it :p I just like it for helping me aim faster with my iron sights, probably cheating but whatever :D Wont miss it. -
And its graphics are basicaly the same as the original OFP on low :D You want shiney new graphics and sexy explosions or realistic penetration? Id personaly take the middleground. Avrage graphics and avrage penetrations.

Erm M1A2 TUSK abrams has a loader, he just uses the M240 mg as far as i know. Its quite pointless to have a loader if all he does is nothing. Unless you make a loading minigame or some such shit -
I think bayonets in games are quite pointless, i mean in real life your scared shitless when a adrenaline pumped, screaming bayonet wielding trooper runs towards you but in a game its just not that scary, you dont have that moment of scare that might make you twithc, or miss. Your just ice cold concentrated and you blow his brains out. Im not saying that bayonets are inefective in real life, lots of things are extreamly in real life but not in games. You aint scared in a game.

Yes that's the deal, the thing with BiS is that they are from europe, post eastern block so i doubt that they will be able to match Chernarus map in terms of authenticity and realistic fealing since theyve been living in Czechoslovakia all their lives probably. Its just a life long of expirenace. And who doesent like NATO vs Soviet Union'esque nations :D Id realy wish they would make another Cold War game. You just cant beat the fealing of CWC, on the edge of doomsday. -

Yes, the voice acting in arma 2 is horid... "Letzzzz blow some shittt uppP!!!!!" Why did OFP have so much better dialauge and generaly had better immersion to any arma game and its like 8 years old? I mean the after motignac mission is my fav mission in gaming history, and the missions towards the end witch turn quite frantic and panicy, were probably the only missions in witch i started sweating :p Anyways, i wish arma was as frantic as the video, AI never uses cover, they just stay there... shooting until somone falls, nobody shouts, its just generic at times :( -
