Am I the only one getting this? If I use the TR Sounds mod I get the following error when starting ARMA2 even with just this mod enabled. [edit] Also get this error when I use CSM2 and RH_Heli sounds so it must be a sound issue with the UH-1Y [edit] Is anyone else getting this? Is there a fix for this? [edit2]seems you have to have ACE2 mod running with this in order for it to work, once ACE was enabled error went away [edit2] SD -

Troubleshooting TrackIR in ArmA 2 / OA

Have you enabled it in the settings? (not sure you have to do this with TrackIR, but I had to for freetrack to work) Go into controls on the main menu, then go into controller (it's along the bottom) All your devices should be listed in the box, highlight the TrackIR device and then click the enble button (it's on the bottom again) TrackIR should now work in game. Sorry if I come accross as trying to tech granny to suck eggs, but I had to do this to get my FreeTrack setup to work (took me aged to figure it out) DUH!! Hope this helps SD -
Jason I had to turn off ACE 2 for that mission as I am a grunt myself (If we were meant to fly god would have given us wings, right) I just couldn't cope with all the manual targetting etc. but once it was off it was a bit easier. there actually isnt a lot to do just 2 tanks a tungusga, a car and 1 helo. Just watch out for the tunguska. But it is a good mission, nice placing of the armour PM by the way, inside the walls of the castles (sneaky). Maybe try the skipmission cheat (LEFT SHIFT + NUMBER PAD -, release and type ENDMISSION) to get through it as you might enjoy the next mission :) SD

I gave everyone a M136 to take out the Tungusgas and the BMP's.. Try to take out the supporting infantry quickly or they will use flares to call for reinforcements the sneaky buggers :) SD

yeah. I'm on the Black forest mission where you have to neutralise the AA. Enjoying this so far, nice work PM Not sure on the music though, I would make it an optional download if I were you, I always have my music turned off anyway. SD

I love the WarFX series and use them all the time, Particles and Tracers, so I say: Hell yeah. Bring on the 50Mb Muzzle flashes I'll definately use them. SD

Seems too. I am running it with ACE and haven't come accross any serious bugs. But I think maybe the Battlefield clearance module should be used on some of the missions, I just completed the village clearance and it's a pain to have to heal your guys in plain sight of the enemy. But I am progressing well at least I was until the flying bit. I fly like a brick and I just keep getting blown out of the sky :) SD

I noticed in the readme that this mod is compatible with Romeo angos vehicle sounds, and in the readme it says to just copy the pbo files from the RT files into the @CSM2 addons folder, but do I have to remove the CSM2_c_aircraft.pbo and CSM2_c_Helicopters.pbo ...........etc files? or will the RT files just overwrite the chammy ones? I get that shaky chute syndrome as well. i think it is ACE doing it as I just did the boot camp mission with both ACE and vanilla. With no mods loaded HALO worked fine and I landed 1m from target, with only the ACE mod loaded I got the shaky chute and ended up heading out to sea in an uncontrollable chute. Can you guys try this and let me know the results please. SD

hehehe Yes I have shut down and restarted ARMA, and yes the config I am editing is in the Userconfig in the Main ARMA folder. Zilla if you could post your config that would be great just to make sure I am not being an arse and doing something stupid. LOL!! MORE :confused: Oh my God I thought there were a lot to start with now you tell me there's more? Yikes. ;) Once ACE get this nuclear flash thing sorted out :391: I will try this mission once again. I am really liking you missions though mate. :cc: SD -

Hmmmm What am I doing wrong? All I want to do is disable the enemy markers on the map but no matter what I do they still show up. I have gone into my GL4_Global.sqf file and edited it like so // GL4 Enemy A.I. Map Marker Debug: // Choose if the "Map Marker Debug" should be used. // Note: This debug creates a marker at the map for each enemy A.I. group and gives several informations about the group behaviour and moving direction. // True / False, default is True GL4_Global set [52, False]; But I still get this when playing a mission. What am I doing wrong ??? it's driving me mad. SD -
Yep I have to say that Duala is my Favorite map too. It's just so awsome. Thank you Icebreaker for this excellent map. And Shabaz for the Molation troops to populate it with. SD
