    ARMA 2: OA beta build 85213

    With the last two betas we have tried, the latest being 85216, everyone who tries to connect to our server is hit with signature check timeouts, and session lost. Nobody is able to join the server at all.   2. Just kicked someone and server is still on :D Good work.
  3. Wow, So uhm, if you try to do "kick 1" or whatever a players name is, We are getting a HARD crash on the server, whole thing goes down. Using the current BattlEye RCon v0.92 beta $able.
  4. Our bans works fine now, 292 bans on file and it worked good. Hoping the arma2 rcon on dev-heaven gets updated. Would love to have a GUI for other people in our unit.
  5. Does the new protocol fix the ban list not being returned if its a bigger list?
  6. It bans you in that game engine. So if all of Arma used vac, you'd be banned from all of Arma. Vac can sometimes wait 6 months before issuing a ban letting hackers run amuck for however long they like. Vac really is a terrible tool for relying upon to catch cheaters.
  7. Our BE updated and has this issue too: Obvious information x'd out for their privacy. I have nudged this to Dwarden on IRC.
  8. This is a topic for dedicated servers. As such we don't have that.

To those who were trying to get multihome working: http://montalban.7thcavalry.us/arma2oaserver.zip This is the latest server.exe from the beta patch, just installing this exe will enable multi-home working fully functional. v1.57.76934 (Windows, Dedicated) We are using it now, and my life is much better :)

    Confirmed multi-home as working on the following servers: 208.167.249.43:2302 =7Cav=Training 1.57 [ACE+A2+AO] 208.167.249.44:2302 =7Cav=Ranger 1.57 [ACE+A2+AO] 208.167.249.45:2302 =7Cav=Tactical Realism 1.57 [A2+AO] I took just the arma2oaserver.exe and used it on a 1.57 steam based server. Big thanks to you all.

  13. I have given up on on multi-home, it is either: A) Broken and not working B) Compiled only into arma2oa.exe and not arma2oaserver.exe

    Arma 2 OA 1.53 Suggestions

    Unify how the game launches between the different versions of the game. Currently its a train wreck that is leading to people being only able to play on one server or another.
  16. What is the official commandline we should be running for combined operations? What should our folder structure look like? Right now the community is split between different methods and its a train wreck. Currently i see some ca;expansion then i see some expansion etc etc. Servers running ca;expansion cant be joined by people using the steam combined operations etc.

    OA Signatures

    When you run OA with signatures enabled, some users are unable to connect to servers depending on the source of OA. Any ideas on this?

  19. Correct :) Just was a little slow on steams part for decryption. Altho im not sure why it was encrypted to begin with, they usually do that with preloads.
  20. Restart your steam, valve didnt have the decryption stuff ready yet.

    Someone just posted a fix. Restart steam and it will begin to decrypt the files. FOr some reason it wasnt setup to decrypt yet when we all finished our downloads lol. Guess our internet is too fast for them.

  23. Even then, the exe is corrupted and unusable on the steam distribution. http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1330382 Check that post, this is multiple people. This issue is CONFIRMED and very real.
