Right, if i remember correctly it started with questioning your physical status because you named the recoil indicator stamina (i won't call it stamina too, but that's no reason for me to offend somebody who did call it like this), well i think it's a good opinion to implant an additional recoil feature, name it how ever you like. It's up to the developer to think about if and maybe how they realize it. It might helps them to read some suggestions how to do it, related to the game engine, but in no case it helps anybody to get personal against somebody else. Well, BI allowed us to use their FT to speed up Bug tracking. For discussions or chat together they gave us this forum. I have no doubt that your statement is (sadly) right too. I also don't want to stop discussion generally, I just like to see them in the right place (discussion forum) and i want to see a FT used like what it is for: "hunt down" bugs and make suggestions about what can be implanted to the game or should be taken off or must/should be changed. I thought the note field is for linking to a video to show a bug, describe the bug or suggest how to to reach the goal to get rid of a bug or how to implant a new feature and stuff like this. To tell that I like or dislike the report i can vote, to tell why I like or dislike it and for everything else I can use this forum. @BigBoss: I totally agree. I bet if devs see an important report they mark it for themselves, without any need to get it pushed up to the top of the issue list every few days.
  2. Sure, think and search before starting a report, also not spam a report with unrelated posts as well as not insult people just because their opinion of something is different. I read your aiming/recoil suggestion from your Signature. It doesn't matter what i think about it, but I can see there that behavior too, instead of let the votes "talk for themselves " an endless discussion about who is right started with an amount of notes, that technical (game-engine related) suggestions, how to reach an more realistic recoil system, are more and more difficult to find in it.

My opinion for this is: A group chat might be a good idea or at least we (Reporters) sometimes need a little bit more "Report discipline". so +1 Btw. I don't care about pink cars, i just won't use them as long as i'm forced to use them. :D

    Why? guess what: Because it worked the day i posted it, because it still works. Why does the link on BI's Wiki Tool-Downloadpage not work? Maybe because they are changing something? But why do you insult ppl who try to help other? Instead of reporting the (temporary?) broken dl-link on the BI-Wiki-Page to BI? Maybe they fix it faster for you.... Questions upon questions... But yes, now I know downloading the Tools from the Wiki-Page doesn't work (at the moment). EDIT: Since a few days the dl link on the Wikipage works again.

    Hi Follow the steps 1-10 of your linked tutorial. Follow also step 11 or save it as png (incl. alpha channel/transparency + full compression (in Gimp: compression 9) Instead of step 12 use: TexView2 which you can get included in the BI-Tools here: https://community.bistudio.com/wiki/BI_Tools_2.5 Save it via TexView2 (choose: RGBA, DXT5 ; None) as logo.paa and it should work fine. Or do what KissDavid said and someone will try to convert it to a logo.paa for you.

    Hi SpectreRSG, if you are sick of trying use this 128x128 (22kb) TFApache logo I made and tested for you: edit: Link deleted because it's no longer needed I took the logo, which is similar to your avatar here, from the Intropage of your clanhompage. Changed the resolution to 128x128 and what's also important I changed the pixel per inch (ppi) from 300ppi to 72ppi. I think that was the reason why it doesn't worked before.

    try to edit the Squad url in your userprofile, i just use only small letters in my Squad url and to edit the Arma3 player profile directly, worked fine for me. in Win 7 your userprofile should be found here: C:\Users\*yourname*\Documents\Arma 3 Alpha\*yourname*.Arma3AlphaProfile this works with a mix of capitals and small letters too. but as Odie3 said every time you go back to your ingame profile and save some changes the URL is forced to capitals again...

    You have to save the source pic with alpha channel (transparancy ),e.g.: in Gimp you have light- and darkgrey squares instead of a color as background, export it then use TexView2. Or try png instead of tga or upload/link your tga here and i will give it a try.

    New logo size is 128x128 filesize: 22kb, a png convertet to paa The old (shadow) logo was 128x128 filesize 13kb, if i remember right it was a tga convertet to paa. Both where convertet to paa via the BI tool "TexView" and "TexView2" to reduce the filesize. which is included in the BI Tool that can be found here: https://community.bistudio.com/wiki/BI_Tools_2.5 I used this 2.5.1 (beta) for the new logo.

    Hi all, I had the same problem. My old squad.xml is working fine in ARMA3 instead of the logo.paa. So i exported a new logo as a png via Gimp: 128x128 (you can choose a different size like 64x64 or 512x512 etc.), 72dpi, including background color (Alpha) and a compression of 9. Saved it via BIs TexView 2 (I chose: RGBA, DXT5 ; None) as logo.paa and this new one works fine for me. Now a clear logo including Alpha channel background appears in the "player preview". Also on the helicopters and logo-supporting vehicles. . I hope that helps someone.
