I'm trying to create a script so that units will change stance behind walls and sand bags. Currently I have null=[this]execvm "stance.sqf" that I put in the units init line. stance.sqf is ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- while {true} do { _unit=_this select 0; _unit setUnitPos "middle"; sleep 30; _unit setUnitPos "up"; }; sleep 5; --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- But the issue I am having is that the unit will go from the default standing pos into the "middle" stance but then will stay there and not then carry on into the "up" pos again. Thanks for any help in advance.

There seems to be an issue with the black hawk rotor LOD as if you are looking at them more than 100 metres away the rotors look as if they are not moving. Great work tho, its nice to have "real" choppers back in the game. -
Are we able to help you with these? Eg configs for smoke life time and size? Smoke trails and what have you? Would be keen to help out.

hi, I'm trying to add 2 sounds for when vehicles blow up. One for the 50-75 meters around the destroyed vehicle and one for the longer range. I have managed the longer range sound but wish to sort out some event handler to play a sound when class HelicopterExploSmall and for the other vehicle explosion are activated. -
I get this error when trying to start mission, and now load up the mission, something in the "=BTC=_respawn.h" file, which is untouched by me.

I've tested your new code, It works with default A3 weapons but using the FHQ m4s it respawns you with no weapon at all, Just your pistol -

There is a way the stuttering is fixed but BI is not explaining how to fix it, if you played the mission CE3_ColtanBlues on Takistan they use unitcapture and unit play for the helo insertion in the little bird. I have unpbo and made the other people in the chopper playable and played it with 4 other people to see if lag was causing it to stutter. It played like it did on single player with no stuttering. So there is a way to do it but BI wont tell us what the secret is. -

Version 1.60.87548 ErrorMessage: Data file too short 'C:\ClientInstalls\CHRISM1\GameServers\TC40006247867235465685202\@Clafghan\addons\ac_130.pbo'. Expected 35290058 B, got 29684760 B we are really having trouble with a couple of files that used to work until the server blew up. We have uploaded the files back to the server but we are getting this new error i have never see before, thanks craig -
Is there a known issue for your shadows? As the shadows from the men disappear within about 2 meters of moving away from them and it just shows the weapons shadows

Yes i have heard the Huey in real life alot of times, I have been Transported all around East Timor in one. The Thump is heard alot better at meduim to long ranges from the actual huey, once you are actually in the huey with the doors wide open you dont get much thump thump you mostly get engine turbine noise washing down inside the chopper. -
Just tested all the choppers with landing troops, BAF choppers as well, and they are still hovering twice the height of a single man to left the troops out. The Merlin also seems to have some extra problems landing on "careless" under fire, they head off and crash into the trees. Is this some kind of new Terrorist script? But instead of buildings its the poor innocent trees? ---------- Post added at 18:09 ---------- Previous post was at 18:07 ---------- Also the new recoil is still horrible for the L85. Alot of weapons (5.56) have been toned down but some body must have forgotten about the L85s ( and no i was not using ace with it)

I don't think you could get more thumpy, as this sound is an actuall recording of a huey. -

If You guys would like some extra help with sounds and such i would love to help. This is a Uh-1 sound I made have a listen, would love it to be added to your mod. -
how about a simple hotfix or something so that when you fire your weapon that it at least lands back down to round about where you had it before your shot. And if they plan to continue to use this new recoil at least have either the aiming dot in the cross hair moving or just the rifle not both as they have at the moment

I my self have used the c9(m249) AUG and mag58(m240) and they have nothing like the "realistic" recoil that has been added in the new patch, I my self are getting sicking of rolling the mouse down so much when i'm firing. For all you ppl who think this it is realistic check out this video of just civis shooting the c9 (m249) standing and show me where all this recoil is that makes the barrel end up gazing at the stars? As like it does with in a burst of 10 rounds from a 7.5kg weapon only firing 5.56mm rounds with the new patch. aka the c9 -1 for the new recoil

Up dated the new ace to the second beta and when you try and go "playerble as gunner" in either a lav25 or the PLA light armour you spawn wat is like in preview mode out of the vechicle. You can't move or anything. Also when you just leave it as non playable the AI is unable to shoot in the gunners seat -
With the new update it gets rid of the crosshair? what is the pbo that takes it away?

Could someone please post a working mission of C4_BitterChill.Chernarus I have no idea whats going on but when i get back to the FOB after the "attack" everything seems to just stop and i have no where to go, If i try going anywhere the anoying zone restriction just kills me no matter where i go
