  1. Playing around with this I was unable to get the customizable loadouts to work correctly... Is this something that needs to be changed inside the PBO or on the plane its self in the editor?

    Shooting Range map???

    Im thinking hes looking for a long range one.. The one in game is prob 100m tops... Which is nothin really. I had to make a range for my unit in ARMA 1... It was a pain and I never finished it. I plan on making a new one for ARMA 2 as it seems they have fixed the bugs with the targets. So... I'll see what i can do about making a range for ya. Only problem really is the only FLAT land is on the airstrips lol.... Gotta love the rolling hills full of trees, but not good for firing ranges :P Unless you want a crazy walking range through the woods with targets popping up out of nowhere freakin you out :P
  3. The 20th Special Forces Group is recruiting... The unit is based off of a SF unit within the US Army, as such we have a unit structure and command base similar to that. Although the unit is technically a realism unit; being that we do have ranks, we follow orders when on coop missions, and have an overall command structure; we are also a relaxed unit that enjoys to shoot the s**t so to speak. We will have an ArmA 2 server up going 24/7 as soon as the game launches in the US. The bulk of the unit members are in the Eastern Time Zone (GMT-5), however we do also have some members from the UK and are getting more as we speak. It matters not to us where you live within the world, however we do hold drills every now and again... Usually before coop matches with other squads just to brush up on some tactics, whos gonna shot what, ect... Given the new improvments with ArmA II, the unit's strengths will be amplified greatly, we are mainly an infantry based unit however we do have a flight detachment as well for support and transportation.     Nothing but problems

    Not to beat a dead horse or anything... but you really cannot compair ArmA 2 to GTA 4... GTA 4 does not require anywhere near as much CPU power that ArmA 2 does the AI in ArmA 1 and 2 are pretty nasty when it comes to CPU power.. That being said, and seeing the number of people saying the same thing I am inclined to agree with some of them... Have you tried at lower graphics settings? I used to get the same problem with the flickering screen in ArmA 1... I found it to be my graphics card drivers crashing, which was a result of a bad GPU from Nvidia (Thank god they replaced it as it was an expensive card at the time :P ) but still... Lowering the settings for me fixed the problem temporarly... Perhaps give that a go and see if that changes things any with the lag / flickering / receiving bugs.

    New Game Theme

    World War 2 has been done... to death. Even now with the mid east wars, they have been done to death as well. I think Korea or even Vietnam would be good... Vietnam with ArmA II scale of landscape and what not would be pretty sweet.
  6. The up and down is dealt with by the scroll wheel, and Q and Z keys for me... But could be different for others.
  7. Not a bug, it's my in-experience with this relatively new editor. Issue was resolved if you read back a few posts.
  8. Ah yes there we go... Very nice. Seems to work "okay", however it would seem that it would be quite teadious to create an entire mission with this. I have used the RTE for ARMA1, and it was quite efficient... However itself had many annoyning bugs. Hopefully BIS will take this and go with it and recreate the mission editor, or perhaps make an extension to it for 3d placement of objects if nothing else.
  9. I have also confirmed this works... However when playing around with it, it seems you cannot add normal units... IE the ones required to preview the mission. Perhaps I am doing something wrong however, can anyone else confirm this anomaly?
