i have the same problem...got it from Play.com today, started instaling and at about 60% i get this: File copy error (CRC does not match). D:\Games\Bohemia Interactive\AddOns\chernarus_Data_Layers.pbo Press ok, and the whole instalation quits... What can be done?

I feel ur pain m8, me and CarlGustaffa in the same jam. We have also ordered from play.com, it was sent on the 18jun, and i thought it would take 3-5 days..but abroad from Uk it can take 7-10 days :( so looks like i wont be playing it just yet :/ I gave my German DL version to a friend of mine after playing it for 5 days, becouse it hought i would have the hard copy today or so :(

Fully agree, this guy deserves respect, i sent his vid with the big AI battle to a couple of friends of mine, and becouse of that vid, they bought the game :)

Just got my new com and looking forward to recive my hard copy in a day or two, allready have the German DL, but thats on my old pc :)

Have been playing Arma 2 for about 5 days now, couldnt wait for my hard copy so DL`ed it from Germany. I also ordered new pc couple of days ago, so looking forward to see the diffrence in graphics. Current rigg: Intel 4 @ 3,6 ghz 2GB DDR2 ram X1950XTX GPU (very old card) WIN XP Servicepack 3 Runs smooth actualy :) Dont remember all the setting(im at work). Filrate 100% View distance 2000 Most settings on normal Some on low Res at 1024 x768 Looks decent to me, and very playable. The Rig im getting: i7-920 @ 3.6 HD4890 6GB DDR3 Ram Win 7 Looking forward to the uppgrade :) This post however is to show that u can run Arma 2 with not the newest GPU`s CPU`s. I have not heard of others using X1950XTX (or worse) so just wanted to share :)

Okay, are evrybody having problems with the 1.02 patch or just some? Nice to know before i patch, dont want to mess it upp as i to have the German DL.

I did use that:) But i was was spotted, and both armor and inf were coming at me, so i got most of the inf but not the armor. Will go back to night after work and go there with HE204 rounds to take them out. Actualy im happy, only had to restart this mission once :)

After much search i found the main camp close to the Dam. Btw, i managed to send the artillery there too, so seems it wasnt bugged for me. My APC got destroyed, so going back to get the other APC, and this time with RPG or simmilar. T72 and BMP at that camp, wich didnt get destroyed from artillery :(

Struggeling to find the damn main base :/ Does it spawn diffrent locations?Wich ones? One west of Dubrokov? How far west?? It did not turn upp north north west of Krasnostas. Escorting the lady the fist time on foot revealed the main base, but i failed when she was supposed to be picked upp. two tries later that does not happen.. Any help?

After a long day on this mission i finaly made it to Manhatten :) Gonna stop now to let the 1.02 patch do its magic. I actualy found Bardak in the quarry near the cost. Dont put to much stock in it though, from the other posts it seems he spawns at diffrent locations.

Have played this mission for more then 10 hours now...Frustrating First i go to Drecsler, then the intel guy, then i drive me and my team to first(closest cross), then second, then third, clear the erea, find the evidence, but then nothing happens...i got alot of crashes, and had to restart a couple of times. Also got then "Lopotev is fleeing north in 20 mins", but cant find him. I was also at the ruins and got the evidence from there.. Were are the two last pices of evidence? Could anyone tell how they did this one?

Im not sure if there is a similar thread before, so please advice so if that is the case. Got this link from a guy that made it. It didnt work for me though. I dont want to simply replace the files as this might activate the FADE, so i will try launching it as a mod instead as the link suggests. I have created a new folder in the Arma2 folder and called it "@English" In that folder i created new "AddOns and Dta" folders. I then copied the two language/text files into the AddOns and Dta folders. ( It states, like suggested in the readme file, wich readme file?) Maybe i did something wrong? languagemissions in AddOns, and languagecore in Dta folder. It then says for me to add "-mod=@English" to the arma2.exe shortcut, and here is when the trouble starts, when i confirm msg pops upp saying the file can render useless if preformed, and so it does. I cant lanch it after doing this :j: Anyone got any input on were i go wrong? Thanks in advance
