    ArmA2 FreeTrack PETITION

    it's the only option! (rs)

    ArmA2 FreeTrack PETITION

Very clear for me. The only thing is not clear is that, from my point of view, we already are a lot of users, and this is a point of view that differs from theirs and I respect that, as long as we don't have the opportunity to show them numbers. So, the next step for now is to congregate all this Freetrack users so we might be able to look at real numbers and make a grounded opinion, both of us.

    ArmA2 FreeTrack PETITION

Why don't you read the thread, fella? I asked not to argue. 3 threads were already shut because of ungrounded commentaries like yours. Your luck is that we have the petition now. So, if the moderator still prefers to close the thread instead of editing ungrounded commentaries like yours, we gonna have something yet. I hope this doesn't have to happen. Edit: Thank you for the editing, MindSpray.
  5. Hello everyone, This is the 5th thread about Freetrack and I hope it's definitive. There's a petition opened for those who wants Freetrack implemented in ArmA2, in case of this poll thread getting closed, again. Here's the link: http://www.petitiononline.com/arma2pet/petition.html So, you can vote here at this poll, but, primarily, vote at the Petition, that is safe from being closed. It takes only 10 seconds to get it done! You can choose your e-mail not to being displayed at the petition's signature, so you don't have to worry about your privacy. About this new poll, contribute for this only voting, but do not argue. We already got 4 closed threads because of ungrounded accusations of possibly contracts and agreements. This arguments are going to lead us anywhere but getting threads closed. Our argument is already the petition that is already online! So, sign it! ----X---- Before finishing this post, I would like to say something: I got infracted for opening the last poll thread (link: http://forums.bistudio.com/showthread.php?t=76698). The reasons are not clear for me, since I sent two private messages to Placebo (the forum moderator): the first one before opening the poll thread and the second after getting the poll thread closed and get infracted. As my answers were never replied back until today, I open this new thread, in order to disseminate the online petition and to say that I still disagree with this forum rule that strangles our right of expression, closing threads because of a few, instead of editing the unwanted posts. The "reason" message I received for the infraction was: “Starting a new thread for something which was clearly closed by a moderator for a reason is not acceptableâ€. My question is: When are we going to be able to discuss this issue here. Never? So, tell us before closing one more thread, Placebo. Fellas, I ask you emphatically not to argue at this thread. Let’s only vote and see if any of the programmers have something to say to us. Thank you very much, Bohemia, Placebo and the game Team, Greetings. ----X---- Edit: Oh, I was almost forgeting the Preamble: As most of you already know, ArmA2 doesn't support any kind of head tracking device, but one that’s too expensive for the majority. If you think that Bohemia Interactive should make ArmA2 head tracking FREE, for example, implementing the Freetrack SDK (which is already free) in their next patch, this is your video (it is always being updated with new info): Cm7tuJzSz7A (It's better to see on youtube, in fullscreen: )So, pay attention to the beginning and to the end of it. See you head tracked! ,
  6. I'm so happy right now! Thank you very much for your consideration, Suma. As Arrowhead said, "we might not have the numbers in your opinion just yet", which in other words means: the numbers in this poll are going to raise. You will see! Thank you once more! x2
  7. Some kind of guy, I ask you to read all the first thread and edit your post, please. We understood being better not to metion any namebranded headtracking entity here because we already had 3 threads closed because of that and we don't want to take any chances again (despite this time we have an official request for the moderator to edit the unwanted posts, erasing then, replacing for some kind of message like this: "this post was edited by the moderator because it inflicted the forum rules and the moderator advertisements.", instead of closing an enormous thread because of one or two unwanted posts.) Kremator, this goes for you too. Thank you very much both of you! Greetings. Edit: Thanks, some king of guy, you already changed it.
  8. The opposers must be users of the other hardware, or the developers of it. No surprises on that. And they have their right to express their opinion here too, if they wish so (but only respecting the thread/forum rules = no offending). It's cool the poll having a space for them. Shows that the quantity of people who wants Freetrack is far immenser then the people who doesn't. So, in order to keep the peace, let's forget peolple who doesn't and focus on people who wants Freetrack. It's for that the poll were created for. Therefore, spread the word for your ArmA2 players friends.
  9. This poll is a continuation from the last one: http://forums.bistudio.com/showthread.php?t=76460 Unfortunately, they closed this last thread (that was the 3th time - or possibly more - doing this), because of some ignorants that insists to mention other entities at the topic. My question is: why they just don't edit the unwanted posts, like this: "this post was edited by the moderator because it inflicted the forum rules and the moderator advertisements."? That's what any other normal foruns do. Why keeping closing the threads, then? I don't know. I think some rules are inconsistent and ends up strangling our right of expression. After all, what is the sense in keep punishing the minority in detriment of the majority? Every forum will always going to have some users that like chaos. Wouldn't be better to isolate them? Simply baning and editing their posts? Is it right an important thread be deprived of exist, because of a few chaos follower users? Even though, here is a message for the incomers: Please ONLY discuss FreeTrack in here, and how to get it to work in arma. Some of us would actually like a chance to hear back from the devs regarding this. So we repeat: PLEASE DO NOT DISCUSS ANY NAMEBRAND HEADTRACKING SOLUTIONS AND/OR COMPANIES. And, if this is not respected, we request for the moderator: Edit the unwanted posts. Do not close an important thread, sending it to oblivion, because of A FEW inconsiderate. Preamble: As most of you already know, ArmA2 doesn't support any kind of head tracking device, but one that’s too expensive for the majority. Thanks BIS for listening! .

  13. Greetings for all of you, As most of you know, the Bohemia's game ArmA2 doesn't support any kind of head tracking device, but TrackIR. If you think that Bohemia Interactive should make ArmA 2 head tracking FREE, for example, implementing the Freetrack SDK (which is already free) in their next patch, watch this video: Cm7tuJzSz7A or follow the link to youtube: Then, pay attention to the beginning and to the end of it and go in for the cause.
