lol Ligthert, that happened to me too, tell him go prone a couple of times and out you pop :), I would say that due to the locations you used this is better than the original, I was getting an issue the other night where myself and Delta were spawning with the same weapon on every location (by same wep I mean that one location I had pistol throughout, then on another it was a sniper rifle etc... not sure if this is a bug or planned ? )

Great map once again Celery, enjoyed playing this, great atmosphere, would love to see an option to change weapons in the admin parameters but still a great map.

I guess you didnt play too many ctf's then galzohar, VERY rare was it that two sides were so evenly matched that a team didnt score a flag and I have been playing CTFs since OFP some of the best maps/missions I have ever played in were league matches, plenty of adrenalin flowing and most matches on a best of 3 scenario would last a few hours shame you never got to experience it buddy, I think you would have changed your mind regards to CTF. ---------- Post added at 13:07 ---------- Previous post was at 13:05 ---------- Any chance you could send me some of those John (sbs_taxman@ntlworld.com) just got our server up and running and looking for some decent CTF's, Delta said he played the St P one and enjoyed it. :)

We are good john, if there is enough CTF interest then I rekon we'll put up a server CTF only, just waiting for more interest.

nice one buddy, would appreciate a fix to the JIP, once the game is started "most" players who join after take ages to upgrade their guns after kills, (its a bit like they have to catch up with the rest of the server) the longer the game has been runnning the more kills they need to get their first upgrade.

If its a dedicated you want then that wouldnt apply buddy... you have around 80 gig to spare with alpha, we use them also.. never had a problem

And maybe change the title of the post to somthing a bit more appropriate... please.. if this about a new hack then specify it, but if you make it about the two clans involved you are asking for trouble...

If you start adding ACE and other major addons you are limiting the amount of interest you will get.......... I for one will not install ACE just to run with this, hope you dont go down that path but hey ho! not my place to tell you what to do.

I like the idea, but tbh.. it will be a very small amount of peeps interested in the "no Respawn" buddy... we had somthing similar running with the APL a pvp map with Limited respawn the difference being it was CQB you would play from both sides against real peeps to capture a particular area... max length of mission was 20 mins with most taking less time after you take out opposing team,,,,,,,,,, MY point is that once a member was dead (and even though they could take up a spectator slot) most just Left the server............. the only way this would work (I think) is in an actual league where Both sides are on TS and can actually add to the game even after Dead.. that way keeping the interest, but mix in Joe public and you may get one game and by the end of it the only peeps left on server are teh ones still alive....... Still like the concept though. I think you will find that deed's post was more directed at the Original poster buddy... I can understand you answering the post BUT as deeds said, there was NO need for it.. he should take it to your forums or PM you.

There some standard ingame camo faces that you can use (if thats any good to u) and you wont get kicked off servers for those ones either.

Im baffled, when did the patches topics become an arguement between "THEM" and "US". PVP vs CooP this is supposed to be about improving the game for everyone so stop the childish to and fro and concentrate on the topic. PLEASE.

If mine is green buddy,,, then there must be some addon/mod on that other server.... The SBS server is VANILLA arma, the problem should be with the server you are trying to join.....

SBS is name of server buddy, you can use the filter to find, individual servers etc..

Odd.... do me a favour.. filter SBS and check out the servers... ARE they all red ? you should have 1 red and 2 green.... if they are all red then you have a problem your side,, you are patched up ? 1.57 (not sure how steam works, if it is the latest version etc) Do any servers show up green ? or are they yellow ?

OR you are running a MOD / Addon, it states NO addons or mods, so only Vanilla Arma is allowed..

At least 4 of those points could be down to lag, (could be) 1,3,4,5 have you tried to run any other missions ? to see if it is server or mission fault ?

Beagle matey I can only assume you havent been in the "PvP scene" as long as Deadmeat, otherwise you would realise that he hasnt just come on the scene and has been involved in OFP since the original which should at least give him some creditbility....
