    Anyone making? Or could make? a map... With a lot of tropical islands?

    The islands could be located in the pacific ocean. The vegetation would be palms, rocks for cover and a bit of grass, like porto, except greener. some mountains on some of the islands and so on. The scarce vegetation is so that the guys with the slower PC's will also be able to play (includes me). Since the maps are starting to become so packed with vegetation and stuff it is not even worth trying to play on them.

    Been working on this lately.

    Oh, and before you watch any pictures, I have to confess two things. Johannes. There is some of your textures on these units, Shoes, and a sewing pattern. But you don't see it cuz the quality is so crappy. Second, I used Binkowski's sample model & materials etc. as a base. Will ask for permission later if you don't see this.

    OK, back to the addon.

    A couple of days ago i watched Red Dawn..... BING* IDEA* And then these units were born. They are also called Wolverines, BUT these are more modern. All the gear they have are from dead soldiers and some stuff is bought from e-bay. (Before country X-Invaded US of A) These units do only have camo cloths, but i will make with mixed and only civie cloths also. And I HAVE TRIEEEED! TRIED TRIED! to make the multicam look Good. But I never succeed.

    Well anyway. Here is the pic.

    Yes, but if they think the finnish armed forces in peacetime, and what they saw when they were conscripts, aswell as what they can see on the internet they wont add an NH-90 with mgs (mg3?) But if they think out of the box... as they did with that sexy RK-95 camo variant :D Then they could very likely put those mg's on that chopper.

    I suppose in war time, the Armed Forces would not send a very expensive heli full of troops without doing all they can to make sure the chopper returns to the airfield.

    But that's just my oppinnion :D

    Question for ACE team: From what I have read from some weird places. The US Army is going to issue ACU's in Multicam for soldiers in Iraq & Afghanistan. This was mainly for the 10th Mountain Div. and some other unit/division whatever it is called. But they are not issuing them yet, if I remember correctly they would be handing out the gear to the soldiers in late summer or something like that. If you can confirm this. Will this be on you "TO DO" list? or will you stick with the DCU since the units RIGHT NOW are wearing it? Thank you =)

    Here is a freeware Jaguar that Darkhorse found for me.

    I've got this model into to Blender and from here on have no idea what to....

    Well I see that the format is .3ds wich should work in Oxygen 2. So Open oxygen ->Import-> .3ds and you model. Then you can place it correctly in oxygen and scale it. I am not familiar with modding vehicles, so for configs & animations you'll have to ask someone else :)

    Looking good Clawhammer. Have you got permission from Jonny to modify these? Or are they still for personal use? I also made some UCP-Delta,Tigerstripe,Multicam,ACU and so on, camos on his units, but I never got the permission from him and Ardvarkdb. ( I was using ardvarkdb modified version)

    But still, if you get the permission here is a small camo pattern for you to check out.

    Is anyone making a map based on a western country? Maybe US? I do not mean WWII based maps but modern. What would not be cooler than invading USA? ^^ Giggity. Or maybe defending US.

    This may now sound more like a request than a question. But the map does not have to contain skyscrapes and big buildings. Countryside is also nice but it is the small details that makes the map look western. Like western houses, people?, cars and so on.

    Just an idea/question.

    The most awsome ultra gigabyte super duper googleplex BBQ cool thing would be if they released some peacekeepers. =) Since AAAALOT of stuff has been going on in Afghanistan lately and it would be cool to play as a peacekeeper in let's say... Duala. Search for illegal weapons, drugs and Terrorists/Insurgents and so on.

    What DOOO ya say FDF Team ? Any plans for these units?
