Theres no grass there cus i disabled it, grass drops my fps a bit, i guess e8400 even at 3.6 is a bottleneck for this card plus since AI ignores grass would be dumb to play with it on, wouldnt be fair. Everything is set to very high (maximum AA option is high for some reason, im pretty sure with my 8800 there was a very high option), post processing off cus i hate the blur, 1440x900 with 200% fillrate and 4km view distance so yea, my fps is always around 25 which isnt great but like i said, the CPU is prolly a bottleneck, thats not rly an issue for me tho, its playable, what is rly annoying is this white vegetation. I've set everything to application settings now and so far so good but doesnt mean it wont happen again, it didnt happen all the time before, i'll have to keep checking next couple of days :P Good to know that its an known issue even tho i couldnt find much about it in other threads, my 8800 was almost 2 years old and died i'd rage if it happened the same with my 2 weeks-old 5850 :(

Latest beta patch like i said in my first post, i'll try the AF thing now, had it disabled and i never had problems with my old 8800, thanks for the suggestions, i rly hope this can be "fixed" somehow :(

No i only tried latest ones, try opening the link in a new window ? it works fine for me :\ i found out that msi afterburner lets you set fan speed as it gets hotter, but i still have this problem :( I only found one thread about the exact same problem in another forum and was someone with a nvidia, there was no solution tho

What do you mean its not complete ? o: and yea, its been very high the whole time, i also tried other settings nothing fixed it :\ btw, how hot does your card get playing ? Mine gets to 70/80ºC cus the fan doesnt go past 30% for some reason, i have to change it manually if i want to keep it cooler, another thing that is pissing me off ._.

Imo its most likely graphic card drivers, i had CTD all the time with the latest nvidia drivers, went back to 182.50 and only had one in a couple of days. Try with older ones, 182.50 are the best drivers for my 8800 so far.

Hey guys, you should try the 182.50 drivers, since i installed the latest nvidia drivers i started having CTD all the time and VERY slow loading textures no matter my settings, i went back to 182.50, the CTD's are gone (at least so far) and now im able to run EVERYTHING on VERY high with a 8800GT, textures are not slow loading anymore and i get 20-30 FPS most of the time with some slowdowns but still playable (i know thats not great for some of you, but thats what i used to get with everything set on low/normal). The only problem with those drivers is that now all my colours look too "alive", no idea how to fix it yet ^^ good luck

I also have this sound problem, i think it started after i installed 1.03 patch, it happens randomly but its pretty annoying ._. i did not change my sound card (onboard) drivers so no clue what the problem is Ok after searching i guess its a bug that came with 1.03 patch, isnt this worth a hotfix instead of waiting god-knows-how-long for the next patch ? ._.

This probably sounds stupid but i cant seem to notice any difference in the sounds with vopsound... Im pretty sure i did everything like the instructions say and when i connect to servers i see the message "... is using modified data vopsound 2.1" etc etc and i dont get kicked so i guess i am using vopsound, am i just deaf ? D:

Ok i've been using this mod thing is i can only join a COUPLE of servers, everywhere else i just get kicked, why wouldnt every admin allow this mod ? also, some servers when i join i just get "session lost", it doesnt happen if i dont use vopsound, whats up with that ?

+1, i just played on a server that didnt even have grass and i had to set everything to normal/low to be able to play without slowdowns (textures only get detailed when u are 5 meters away, awesome) and even like that the FPS wasnt great, just playable, however, the graphics looked like crap. BIS could at least say if they are planning to do something about that, thats if they can do anything about it at all. This is the first game im not able to run at max settings with good FPS so dont come with "upgrade your pc" crap. Cant wait for OPF2 to come out just so BIS can see that even tho the game itself is great theres no point making a game that is unplayable.

Ok i've been playing the demo MP so i have no idea how the full MP is, my question is, does the full version have SERIOUS dedicated servers hosting games or is it like the demo, hosted by a player ?:confused:

Well but wont the overrall performance be much better if you play on a dedicated server rather than a random player hosting it ? Thats why im asking.
