Arma2 demo massive helo problem.

Oh wait, I found the problem. I disabled my pedals and all works fine now.....but I want to be able to use my pedals! I'll try disabling the red controls and report back. -
I just got the demo today, and so far I am very disappointed at aircraft handling (mainly because the damn things flip themselves on warmup!) I suspect this has something to do with my control setup. I'm using an X52 and Saitek Pedals. I went through the aircraft controls and set everything to what it should be, and I have my throttle on idle when warming up. After a couple seconds, I start tilting to the left and eventually flip over. What the hell is going on?!?!

Excuse me? Look at PR mod!!! Its got a squad system, and every man joins a squad each game. Built in Server VOIP is also included. The main reason I want this game is because I HEARD there is organization. Maybe I was told wrong. If theres no serverside supported VOIP system, or even a goddamn organizational tier system.....epic fail :( EDIT: This high command thing seems promising.....

Having crosshairs does not compensate for ANY handicap. Its called bringing up the scope/ironsights, not shooting from the hip. Do you think soldiers in real life shoot from the hip? Bringing up your sights isnt a handicap at all, its called real life. www.realitymod.com ^ above mod has the level of realism I've described and there are hundreds of dedicated players. Only reason I'm interested in ArmA2 is because it CLAIMS to have the same level of realism as this mod (and the sexy graphics+massive map :P )

Yeah, I've also noticed in various videos that theres an onscreen ammo counter (shots in clip and remaining magazines), which is completely BS. I thought this was supposed to be uber 100% realistic? I mean, I'm considering switching over from BF2 PR mod to this fulltime, but from what I've seen so far, PR is beating ArmA2. Not graphics wise, but realism wise I mean :P

Hey all, just signed up to ask this question which I don't think I've seen. And I want an answer badly! Whats the command structure like in ArmA2? Basically, what I'm assuming- 1. Squad member 2. Squad leader 3. Platoon leader 4. Company leader 5. Commander Or roughly along those lines. Basically, is the chain of command structured like an actual military force would be? Otherwise, this game will be complete chaos and fail :eek: This question is concerning the multiplayer function of the game :) No news at all on this? Good lord, I hope not....
