The only thing I could say is possibly increase your ram. I have a Q6600 running stock with a GTX285, 8GB of DDR2 800 MHz Ram. I'm getting 40+ FPS with almost everything set at max, view distance at 3000 meters and fillrate @ 130%. I would double check your drivers as well. I can't possibly believe that my video card makes that big of a difference over your entire setup. Also, I have a simple, single 500GB 7200 RPM Seagate drive.

What's your view distance set to? I remember in Arma1 that the shorter your veiw distance the less this occured. I didn't have any occurrance of this until I updated to the 1.01 beta patch. It now happens from time to time, though I do have my view distance set at 3000 meters.

Check your difficulty settings, on veteran or higher they are no longer visible.

Yep, I bought and downloaded from metaboli.com and the installer was in english. I'm not sure if the petergames one is as well.

It's still there, though not as bad as Arma1 or OFP.

**UPDATE** After letting it sit at a black screen for about two minute it kicked me back to the online game browser. I then clicked the join button for the same server and I connected just fine.

I don't what happened with the people who claim they haven't received an email. I received mine right away and I have already begun playing ARMA2. You may want to check your spam filter, if you haven't already.

Me Too! I'm running Q6600 EVGA 680i BFG GTX 285 (185.85) 8GB DDR2 Win7 RC I'll also add, I do not have any problems so far in singleplayer.
