  1. My current PC: E8400 3.00Ghz HD 4850 ATI 512MB RAM 4 Gigabyte RAM 7200RPM Seagate HDD Guess i will buy the NvidiaGtx460 1024MB as new graphiccard. Now my question is, how are those CPU´s? Are they good for ArmaII?     Patch 1.55 Issues

    i just went back to 1.54 with 74360 Beta. Its just annoying that they couldnt fix it to the stable patch. They could at least have released another beta this week which fixes the problem, so you dont have to reinstall EVERYTHING. I also tried a single Arma2 installation with 1.8. No problems there...Also the choppers are flying normal without bugs. I dont get how they didnt manage to fix it after over 1 month. they really let the community down with so much problems...
  4. i tested Lingor for around 2 hours now and i have to say: Its just impressive. i cant imagine how much work you have to put in a project like that, but im sure Icebreaker, you could demand money for that:) the immserion on this island is just outstanding! performance is also just great! BIS really should hire you for projects. I just discovered the Race Track and im sure this will enable a lot of multiplayer fun, just awesome! Thanks for this great Island!!!

  6. Great to see it finally coming! We can just hope that: 1. BIS will release a beta today which fixes the texture problems+flickering 2. Its not the same like with the PMC DLC :rolleyes:

  8. yep, its the same for me. For me its not about if this weapon is used or not actually. Its that the XM8 was allready ugly in Arma2 and its not anything new. Maybe they will retexture them completly, then i dont say anything;-)
  9. I think a intelligence step from BIS. The current state of the game is really bad for me and many others. Horrible texture loading, bugs with helicopters and more. Let us test many new betas and you can be sure to have a game the community can enjoy. It doesnt make sense to release DLC while the vanilla game is in a bad state.

    I dont know if its since the latest beta, but does anyone have this too? This shadow looks a bit strange: got my settings all on high, also shadows, no AA.
  11. In the new 5 screenshots a new drone is shown. Is this thing allready in use, is it only a recon drone or combat drone, couldnt find anything about it.
  12. well if you put "this exec camera.sqs" in a units init line, you got the free camera. then clicl preview. now if you click the right mouse button it will copy the coordinates in your buffer. just switch with alt tab in the empty txt file and press STRG+V, there you have the cam coordinates. I would be interested in a freelook like in the beginning of eagle wing. How do you do that ? thanks!

    so i tested the Z-fighting thing again and it seems to be worse again, not better... in one of the latest patch it was nearly perfect, no i can see much flickering again. doesnt care which stance.

    Z-fighting is pretty much reduced nearly to zero for me now. biggest issue is the Lod´s and the texture loading atm. i hope we´l see many test builds this week before the Patch with PMC comes, so everbody gets a acceptable game experience again...

  23. yaya. BIS support IS good! i just dont get the point with collecting beta feedback and then releasing a official patch, while the beta feedback was bad in the last state. Thats all. Dwarden informed me about it, so il wait with patience again to see the things fixed. You cant compare Arma with any other game out there, in terms of gameplay and quantity, but also in the complexity and amount of problems, so i think its required to have the devs interacting with the com.
