Hi FatherSarge, Thanks for your reply I have tried the non-analog settings before and just now and its no good that makes the collective stick just a up and down only as in I pull up a bit on my collective a little and in the helicopter/in game the collective goes to the top so I drop it down a touch and in the game/helicopter it goes all the way down.. As for having two things mapped there isn't once I have set the X52 or which everyone I try as I over write the other.. Anything else you can suggest as I'm lost with it, depressed, disheartened, annoyed, p*s*ed off, suicidal, cold, damp and its snowing... Many thanks in advance, bush

Hi there I'm having the same issues but when I set the + &- to rise collective (analog) it sets the collective in game about 5-10% raised so floating as soon as engine up any ideas? Cheers, bushwacker

Hi all, If anyone here can help I would really appreciate it. My collective is like a bouncing ball up/down never smooth since the update. In the advanced setting the collective goes full travel in standard no movement to be seen at the controller for both stick and collective and very poor/slow handling and limited pitch/yaw and that. Tried the a tip seen on YouTube with the collective to set 'collective raise' as both + &- but that sets the collective a little way up (visible at stick in advanced) so skimming across the ground! I really am at my wits end with this tried all different sensitivities, dead zones analogue not analogue its a shame as before the update could fly great with both my xbox controller and Saitek X52 with no issues. I also play IL2 BOS and DCS and fly both planes and helicopters in a controlled manner... Many thanks to anyone whom gives this their time in reading or replying. Cheers, bushwacker

I let you all into why I am sensitive about this. Waited to buy a new pc for this game hoping it would be like the orginal ofp was having a big operation last May and couldn't drive for at least 3 months so sold my 2006 CBR1000RR Fireblade in black to fund the pc as I wasn't going to be able to use it that summer. Sat at home after the operation (once I could get out of bed) Arma 2 installed and crashing all the time. So no game no bike:mad: Keep reinstalling sometimes even formatting before hand when a new patch comes out in the hope its fix as their are others with simlar systems that suffer too (i7 + GTX295) but never gets sorted. Any way was going to buy a new Ducati 1098 this summer 2010 but after the operation I got blagged into going on hoilday to Side in Turkey by the misses and I am - we are - have bought a 2 bed appartment out there ( http://www.homeinturkey.com/babylon.htm ) so now no money for the Ducati :j: Edcase please accept my apologize for singling you out at the start of this thread, I just think people are very quick to blame others pc's for the problems when in alot of cases thesedays games are rushed out unfinish or even a bag of pants (codemasters operation flashpoint 2 what a joke) I will take your advise Dwarden and next time I feal like getting annoyed I will install patch and try = crash - send information. Hi All, Simply the Arma 2 game crashes and the error is exe has stopped responding. It will do this mid game at any time short play or upto 30mins or so and same error when a go to close ? All nvidia control pannel settings are set standard now as game is recognised by the pannel. My system run's alot of games, demanding and not some demanding and never misses a beat. I would like to thank anyone how has read my post and given it any thought and replied with a sensible and genuine offer of a fix, not a slanging match into its your pc bull. Hi all, Not big on posting in forums but I do read them often when I have problems with games etc. That said Arma 2 kept me very busy on its release and there after trying to make the game work without Crashing To Desktop. Error is .exe stop's responding. This is the only game of lots that crash and my system runs very clean and slim as it is only for gaming on. My big question is will this be the same with Operation Arrow Head as I have pre-oreded it already but not looking forward to the disapointment of it crashing to desktop and BIS unsuccessfully fixing with a patch but having even more of my money in their pockets. Yep I too waited and bought a expensive i7 system with gtx295 card for this game release and feel very disapointed with the performance of this game, you want to see farcry2, FSX, there great so I have to keep telling myself its this game not my pc ! Please fix this BI asap.

Hi All, I too have crash to desk top with arma.exe still runing also arma stops responding alot plus and this is a new one for me in any game, the game goes really side show (low framerates) and freezes then comes back running ok but all buildings are on there sides **?** Iam very disapointed with arma 2 which in my opinion has been released when it doesn't run just like armed assault (i could finally play with 1.6 beta patch) specs are: asus rampage II, i7 920 @3.6 6gddr3, GTX295. Hope they sort this out and quickley.

thanks for quick answers guys I will try the beta patch, it a fresh install just put the 1.14 patch on so can i go striaght to the 1.16 ? no mods never played it for more than 10mins or turned off stright away when flashing ( round edges of menu or when start a mission)..

Hi all, just a question on if there is a fix to my problems with ARMA 1, I biught it from poland when 1st come out after being into ofp since 2001. I was sadly unable to play it as my system wasnt up to it. Now finally have a i7 quad core 3.6 gtx 295 6gigram vista home 64 bla bla (sold my fireblade) computer. I installed a uk gold edition of the game and get white flashes and some training ops dont play ? patch with the 1.14 as it says on the site which is for 1.08 box fresh arma gold ! any advise as am off from 26th for six weeks getting better from a major operation and would like to at least attempt to have some good old gaming fun.. Any reply would be great many thanks for reading and your time in replying (if it wont work c u in ARMA 2)
