You have more pixels both on the vertical and horizontal on a 4k monitor and your 21:9 will fit inside of the 4k screen with black borders top bottom and sides, so all that black can be used with the right setting to give you a better fov both vertical and horizontal or am i wrong?

Why not just go for a full 4k monitor? 3840 x 2160 vs 3440x1440 , 21:9 will look like a 4k monitor chopped which is what it is. lots more sky with the 4k and in arma things kill ya from the sky :)

I run windows 7 and have the same problem, I get 60 - 90 fps but my game stutters and feels laggy gfx drivers are up to date i7 3770 gtx 780ti ssd 250 8 gig 1440p

So I delete a profile and find that it is now my default profile, i:e every time i run the game i have to change profiles from the one i deleted and reset my joystick settings :mad: the profile I tried to delete was not my first profile, I also tried deleting all files with the profile name but the game starts and its still there and its the start up profile. Will this be fixed?

Same situation all good never crashed, updated and crashing to desktop and have to c/a/del, happens on multi player king of the hill servers although i have played a full game without crashing, haven't tested any other servers i7 3770 gtx 780 ti ,353.06 ssd 250 8 gb 1440p 64 bit win 7

I haven't played end game yet but I just had a game of king of the hill on a 90 player server (Full) Before 1.44 I'd be looking at 25 fps :( I was on a good steady 60 :) maxed at 1440p same as I would see in single player, although the view would be at 5000 v koth's 1000, IMO alot of the lag online is down to ppl hacking on the server. i7 3770 gtx 780 ti 8 gig ssd

Hi guys, I think I was hacked last night in game. I was playing on a king of the hill server (US HC) I was sniping from around 1000m out and doing well, killed around 25 for 0 deaths, I guess i pissed someone off as my weapon started to shake as if i was playing dayz and I was cold, ok the game is pretty much unplayable so I left the server and went to bed, next day I had a go in the editor WTF still shaking how do I stop this I really don't want to reinstall any help would be appreciate. This sway is stopping me from playing, its bad, Nothing like the real world (from my limited experience of weapon handling, as I'm from the UK) I do have a high power crossbow with a 4-16x50aoe scope though. After doing a few tests with it, I can say whoever came up with this has never used a scoped weapon! or maybe they should see a doctor if they think this is the way it is. Could someone strap a gopro to the top of the scope and do a comparison, I would but don't have one :)

The game is getting harder and harder to enjoy, seems 90% of ppl are using some kind of hacks, the shield seems to be in wide use atm and is very easy to spot, frankly arma 2 and 3 servers are full off hackers and it really needs to stop. Gaming company's need to get together and start using the courts to put a stop to cheating. Use the law and start punishing the cheats they cant be allowed to get away with this. 6 of my friends have give up gaming just in the last few weeks because of the cheating, how lone will it be before the only ppl playing is the cheaters? from want I have seen it wont be long. I myself wont be buying anymore games until I see heads roll and script writers jailed! The only fix for this is, use the law, if it needs to change to accommodate then change it but cheating needs to stop or multiplayer gaming will never be what it should be. Youtube is full of videos of ppl cheating on arma 2 and 3 but not only bi games, seems cheating is a problem across the board. WHY ARE THEY ALOUD TO GET AWAY WITH IT?

I Don't have a clue Geraklus, I run with an i7 3770 and a gtx 670 and was getting an ok avg 40 fps in arma 2 after disabling afew addons in firefox and playing afew hours later I had jumped to 120 130 fps, although i was running with some settings turned down. After maxing (pp off, 3500view at 1920x1200) I get a good solid 80 fps. This was a shock to me, a good one :) I never made any other changes to the pc and there was no updates for the game or pc and really wasn't trying to get more fps for arma I was playing dayz getting 40 fps left the game started up firefox disabled the addons ( just as house cleaning) spent a few hours browsing the net went back to play dayz and bang 130 fps

Go to control panel go to display, do you have it set for easy reading 125% 150%? if so set it to 100%

I'm finding it impossible to set up the game as I can't see any of the main menu, its there but its off screen, I did manage to get my res set to 1920x1200 and also managed to play the game, although my cross hair is low and right on the screen. i7 3770 gtx 670 8gig windows 7 Fixed, Turns out to be control panel, display, "make it easier to read whats on the screen" having this set to 150% was causing my problem setting it to 100% default fixed it

I replaced my motherboard ram and processor, afew days ago, everythings been working well, I then installed the baf addon after redownloading it from sprocket. From then I cannot join any servers, I get kicked with this message files c\programs files\bohemia interactive\arma2\baf\addons\air.pbo c\program files\bohemia interactive\arma2\baf\addons\characters_d_baf.pbo, w_baf.pbo data_baf.pbo dubbing_baf.pbo languagemissions_baf_pbo are not signed by a key accepted by this server (any server i have tried, about 10 in total). to play on this server,remove listed files or install additional accepted keys How do i get these keys?

I'm using the six updater, I have also updated manually using the latest beta with no joy.
