Yeah, how can we be sure its a 360 version? In all likelihood its an xbox controller connected to a pc, you can see how its plugged into the top. What 'xbox windows' are you talking about anyway? I guess i dont know exactly what that is... Also, wikipedia now lists a 360 version on its sidebar

God this is looking better and better. What do people think about all of it in regards to the hardware capacity of the 360? I'm wondering if thats why OFPDR dropped the mission editor. Also Placebo, got any more bones to throw us to see if theres a console version or not? Please not that I respect, love and adore you by the way.

Should we still soberly look forward to Arma 2 coming to the 360? Maybe you're not the person to ask and perhaps its not something that can be answered, but I thought Id try. Ah yeah, welcome to the forums, that wasnt trolling as far as Im concerned. Good god, thats three nights now that Ive had a dream about playing Arma2. Is that bad? I think it may be. I have to admit that Im starting to have doubts all over again about a 360 release (and I think such doubts are correlated with the dreams), we at least wont be playing it for quite some time. God I really hope so, taking all the information in on what the game offers makes me doubt if an xbox can even handle it. I cant wait to play this game, I cant even begin to explain myself.

Yeah, I think everyone is just dying for some closure on this thing. Lately Ive been feeling optimistic about an xbox release, but I am still worried about the editor. If they take it out like OFPDR did then it just wouldnt be a true sandbox game; the editor is really what made the original Operation Flashpoint what it was. Also, I cant stand playing as marines, not only did I have certain qualms with it, but it is just so over-done in games, you always have to be marines or the US. I really like being able to play as any faction I want, it just grants you so much freedom and replay value. It sounds silly but I love using my imagination with making my own scenarios. To me thats what made the original Op Flashpoint so fun. So yeah, I really hope they keep an open editor in the xbox version... Long live Chernarusian Movement of the Red Star!

Silly question of a philistine perhaps, but what does it mean for a thread to be 'stickied'? I cant wait to play this game, I think the anticipation is starting to have adverse health effects...

I hope you're right about that, I was nearly dehydrating myself to death from all the tears. Anyone know when a confirmation on an xbox version is to be expected?

Hey folks, I'm new to the forums but Ive been watching them closely to get some concrete closure to see if Arma 2 is coming to the 360. Lately things have looked like we would be playing it on xbox, but today I came across this IGN article http://pc.ign.com/articles/981/981088p1.html There it says that it is only coming out for computer, "ArmA II is coming to North America in 2009 and is exclusively for PC". Additionally, the latest on wikipedia says there is no xbox release. Someone throw me a bone here! I really want to be playing this one on xbox... Thanks
