Are you not trolling/insulting/name calling yourself? You SIR are a HYPOCRITE and an immature/adult who plays videogames(bet your a real chick magnet huh?) So we get infractions for name calling but you DON'T... can one of the mods speak up and explain this double standard in the application of the official forum rules, and explain why AVBIRD is exempt from them ? AVEBIRD stop trying to sound like a big boy on a "videogame" forum and realize that since alot of your life is spent on a silly game forum, you are immature and pathetic and sad. You insult/ others while in the same breath you tell them to stop "trolling". What!? You think because there are xbox controller buttons in that video that it MUST be coming out on xbox360? HA! You DO understand that you can plug your xbox 360 controller into your PC and play the PC game version of arma 2 using the controller don't you? I downloaded the arma 2 game on my laptop unplugged my 360 controller and plugged it into the PC and it instantly recognized the controller, I didn't keep the game cause it really isn't made to be played with the controller on the computer but I did enjoy it. This game is NOT going to come out for the xbox or ps3 platforms, I think it's time we all just face the facts and realize it just aint gonna happen, or else they would have been keeping us informed by now. Either buy a $3 thousand dollar PC rig or wait for something else like battlefield 2 thats our only option at this point. I really even doubt that these forums are even being payed attention to at all! I think we are all just writing messages to each other, and what will that do for us?

Well I say this because at this stage in the life of the Ps3 and the 360 it is a little too late to be still "speculating" on a new title, I mean the xbox 720 and the Ps4 are in development as we speak and when those two start the new console wars in the next couple of years you won't be able to scream loud enough to get gamers attention about a new 360 or ps3 game, they will salivating over the new platforms, If it ain't coming out very soon then I would just speculate these studios are trying to figure out if they just want to wait for the new machines. I Think what needs to be done on these forums is that the console gamers need to unite and start demanding "Specific" answers! Everyone needs to start asking Bohemia "Are you going to CONFIRM or DENY" a release on the consoles? We deserve answers at Least! If You (Bohemia) are NOT going to make a CONSOLE VERSION then tell us and then shut down these forums, I will be leaving this forum for GOOD very soon because it is a COMPLETE waste of my time to keep checking for updates on the ststus of the CONSOLE VERSION and see that there still are NONE, Time for us gamers to start demanding answers they have had ENOUGH TIME! ---------- Post added at 08:32 PM ---------- Previous post was at 08:23 PM ---------- ________________________________________________ YES! Botom line is this, Codies now has ALOT of Pissed off gamers on their hands and the ultimate justice will be the backlash they recieve. They will now just be in a constant battle to hord off the mad gamers and bad comments about their STUPID game, They deserve every bit of it too!

I was anticipating this game being a HUGE fan of ELITE on xbox original. I can say now after having played the entire campaign and the single missions that are included that this game is a piece of SHIT! I wil now list the reasons why! 1. First things first. There is NO "exploration" of Skira Island allowed which in my opinion is what "operation flashpoint" is all about (open world goodness). Whenever (on any map) you get about 2 or 3 miles away from the mission a voice says "warning, you are leaving the operation area return immediatley" then the mission abruptly ends and you FAIL! This goes against EVERYTHING I had imagined this game to be. I mean wasn't it CODEMASTERS themselves who said things like, 9 hOURS to WALK across the map, 25 minutes to fly, 2 hours to drive!?!? I guess we'll NEVER KNOW because you CAN'T! 2. Many of the pre-release videos showed helocopters in ABUNDANCE but there is only ONE PART of ONE mission where you get to actually fly a helicopter...BUT...you are told where to go which is only about 3 miles away. THATS IT! 3 AIRSTRIKES and MORTERS! You get to call in ONE..thats the number 1 my friends, airstrike in the ENTIRE CAMPAIGN! mortars I THINK 2 times! ...WOW... this game is just a PIECE..... 4. Finally (there are so many more issues but these are the big ones) When you look at the HUGE map of skira, it really is a good size map there are so many areas that you never even see in the game and you CANNOT access them because you can't leave the "operation area". This whole concept of creating a HUGE world only to set restrictions on the gamer makes you ask WHY did codemasters even BOTHER making the huge world in the first plase, If gamers want to be told where to go and where to shoot we can buy halo, or COD etc etc. Codemaster needs to apologize to the fans for mucking up the name that has become synonymous with open world military sim gamefare that is Operation flashpoint because they have completely ruined the name now for me forever, ArmA now HAS to come to the consoles to show the clowns at codemasters how it is DONE! - FISHEGG

I downloaded the free demo of this game and I was really excited! Then I actually played the game and now, well. . . .Not that excited anymore. Guess I'll wait for operation flashpoint DR.

I have a core 2 duo/ nvidia geforce 9600m gt/ 4 gb ddr3. How will it do ?

Well I have been looking at all the youtube vids of the gameplay and honestly it does not look like there are really any MAJOR problems with the game. I have seen SOME clipping issues like tank turrents clipping through the tank, or trees clipping the tank after they fall down when run over, but honestly in my opinion these are MINOR, MINOR issues. I think there are a bunch of overhyper people just nit picking this game to death to the point of missing the big picture which is, THIS GAME ROCKS! It looks awesome,and the gameplay is very solid overall, let's all lighten up and "ENjOY ThE GaMe" !

Well considering the fact that the press is ripping the PC version of the game due to it's buggyness, we are probably a good ways off from getting the 360 version. I'm going back to sleep wake me up when it comes out!
