I already tested some of the numbers on my machine (spawning civis) Slow zombies are the only way to go , The fast ones once they get past a certian point 50 meters will kill you regardless of the firepower. the gunplay in ARMA is too slow for a twich shooter like L4D The only way to make the slow zombies a threat is to make it so a headshot is the only thing that can kill them other than high explosives. I suggest any real zombie fan read the book World war Z as its the most important peice of zombie fiction ever (more important than dawn of the dead)

nah not interested , zombies are reanimated corpses , they cant run.

-I want to see aiming reticles for some of the weapons like the javalin actually look and function as such (FLIR) -I want good bright tracers that will light up the ground -I want the mini-guns to actually fire and sound like miniguns. -I want Every soldier to be able to adjust his weapons sights (even down to iron sights) -I want over 9000 weapons and vehicles -i want to see functioning PEQ lasers and illuminators And last but not least I WANT TO BE ABLE TO JOIN AN ACE SERVER WITHOUT HAVING PROBLEMS -

To be honest , focus on nothing but the t800 , its animations , its rifle , and its AI make it roam the battlefeild looking for people to kill. then release it as a individual unit and a group of 10-20 for the editor. If you pull it off and its slow and menacing like the real one there will be people lining up to help create the rest of the content for you! -
can you explain to me what a stupid player is? And after that could you explain what makes them automatically like gore thus making them "stupid players". I like gore in my video games when it makes sense , im not stupid. Video games are for entertainment , arma is no exception. People on these forums put themselves on too big of a pedestal and are pretty shallow to believe that they are "better" or "more smart" than other gamers based on their taste with video games. And thinking that realistic violence (IE gore) would somehow lower the amount of fun a serious mil simmer would have with the game is frankly.... well... stupid....

How is the AI going to work for the t800? Are they just going to roam the battlefeild? cuz that would be cool -
exactly , red orchestra is a fine example Im not talking over the top gore where you shoot somebody with an m16 and a spurt of blood explodes out of their chest and they fly backwards

Its already modeled to the m16 , would it be possible for bohemia to make the PEQ units on the rifles functional when pressing the L key for light? These lasers are infrared and would only be seen through nightvision goggles. It would toggle through these modes.... AimLO = just the aiming laser on low power DualLO= Both illuminator and aiming laser on low power AimHI= The aiming laser on high power DualLO/HI= Illuminator on low power and aiming laser on high power DualHI= Both illuminator and aiming laser on high power Not only would this be a great tool for navigation at night (think invisible flashlight that enemies without Night visions cannot see) But the Aiming module would be great for pointing out things in the enviroment ( occupied buildings for example )

I highly suggest you guys try to grab the FLIR system and implement it into the first release of ACE 2 BTW , are the tracers in ace mod the ones that emit light? because i have like 1000 mods downloaded and im not sure if these are the stock ace tracers. when they are close enough to the ground they will emit a green/red light on the ground they look very cool at night -
its not the netcode , most of the servers are Peer to Peer im sure you will notice a MAJOR increase in playability once the full game is released and people start making massive dedicated servers

The rate of fire on the miniguns are astoundingly slow , and so is the sound for them. if im not mistaken

i dont know , its pretty easy to change the ROF for a weapon , and i think a group making a military simulator would know a thing or two about how fast a minigun fires. Its not the case in the game

I think you are confused , The game is about being a realistic and immersive depiction of modern combat. Not an airsoft simulator where everyone has to be ultra conservitive with features to keep fans of other games away. if you shoot somebody with a 50 caliber machine gun they are not going to fall over like they tripped on a rock and fell on a tomato , they are going to tear apart and its going to be shocking to watch. Body's do not lay on the ground painted red after a bomb goes off , they blow into chared peices. Its the sad truth of war. A truth that is not represented in this game that should be. If you have seen actual imagery of the things im talking about you would understand 100% what im saying and why it needs to be in the game. Having this feature wouldnt "ruin" arma for its core fans , and it wouldnt lure the oh so hated "noobs" to your precious game either. It would only enhance the fact that you are indeed in a WAR. Like i said earlier , the small arms simulation is spot on in arma 2. So its not like blood is going to pour out of people like postal when you shoot them. This only caters to the heavy weapons that do indeed rip people apart.

i hope this mod takes on the designs that cameron constructed in the first 2 films i dont like the newer Hk's and such they look terrible Keep the 80s sci fi look BTW , i can help make maps if you can tell me what software to use
