    US Marines

Extremely well done, one notice though - FROG in marpat woodland version has torso in Coyote Brown ;) You can see it on the manufacturer's page: https://www.epropper.com/products/142/category/49/FROG%20Combat%20Shirt.htm (in order to see it you have to select fabric and then camouflage - marpat woodland ;) )
  2. Are you aware that Multicam uniform US troops will get/are getting now is also ACU (FR-ACU to be more specific)?

    ArmA2 - The Xbox 360 thread

I actually think Operation Arrowhead could work better on Xbox. Why? Because there's much less vegetation, and everyone knows that very very good vegatetion with superb animation can be computer killer

    I am so happy!...

It's obvious Dragon Rising can't be compared to ArmA 2 but that doesn't mean it's big piece of s... It's just a tactical shooter with elements of realism. And you three are stupid fanboys or small chlidren. I bet you haven't even played it.
  5. EmperorPalpa

    semi realistic games

Definitely Rainbow Six Vegas 1 and 2 (in this game recoil is even bigger than in ArmA 2 :p), Battlefield 2, Red Orchestra, Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 1 & 2
  6. I've noticed one thing here: when talking about OPF:DR, everyone calls it inferior to Arma 2 (or at least "consolish Rambo-FPS"). Would you mind explaining it to me? You have definitly played that game so you can tell everything about it, right? I haven't played both games (how could I ;)) but after reading some of objective Arma 2 reviews here, I dare to say DR sounds better so far. Surely it won't have so top-notched graphics, but at least there will be realrealismthere. Or so I hope. I bet Arma 2 is fun for gamers but for sim-lovers - it's not enough (yet, hope patch will fix that).

    New ArmA II Pictures!

Placebo -> pls, only one response  With pleasure :p It's not T-80U (becasue it's old and worse than T-90), but T-80UM-1 Bars. First, it has new 1100 kW multi-fuel gas turbine which gives extra maneuverability and it's very reliable. Second, new fire control system with electronical conmponents and computers, standard hull armor is now stronger by integration composite armor (there's high posibility those are the same hull materials used in T-90). Third, It has the same Kontakt-5 era armor and same Shtora electro-optical protection suite. Next, it has Arena Active Protection System, which is the best-protection countermeasure system invented so far (even Koreans installed it on theirs K2 tank - which is the most sophisticated tank in the world). Next are minor changes like completly new tracks, air-condition, LED screens for driver and commander, fully-electricly(?) stabilised cannon, and GPS. And after all, it's T-80. It's a succesor to T-72, and T-90 is NOT a new tank, but a deep modernisation. It's damn russian propaganda (for example Mi-35 - Mi-24W, MIG-35 - modernized MIG-29, Su-39 - mod. Su-25 and so on).

    New ArmA II Pictures!

Dude, do you know what are you saying? First, T-80U (and next U series) is far more better than T-90 which is in fact modernised T-72. Second, Russian Army doesn't have money for new vehicles/aircrafts. For example, there's about 300 T-90, 4500 T-80 and 9800 T-72. BTR-90 numbers oscillate in 100, whereas BTR-80 are about 4000 (and older BTR 70 and 60 are about 4000 together). Only BMP-3 are in higher "precental" quantity, theres about 1500 of them (BMP-2 about 4000). In air forces, Kamovs 50/52 are in number of 25, Mi-28N - 16 and Mi-24 -what a suprise - 260. In therms of firearms, AK-74M is standard-issue rifle. In 1994 An-94 was selected as new rifle (now there's AK-107) but goverment is too greedy (1 abakan costs are similar to 5 74M's) and there no abakans (nor Ak-107). There have been no new aircraft in service for about 20 years (both Mikoyan and Sukchoi produce new cutting-edge planes like Mig-35 and Su-35). GPS analogue isn't working at all, there are 4 (literally FOUR) UAV's for entire army, and about countermeasures I'll quote general Anatoly Nogovitsyn after war with Georgia (where Russians lost at least 7 planes) - "we've used soviet-era systems" - it speaks for itself. So if you want to play today's Russia go play as Czernorus army or Red Star movement. Oh, now I've seen Universal and Vilas post ;P To be clear, I'm not complaining about Russian army in ARMA 2, I like very much concept of using new weapons, but please people remember this is not true Russian army and Vilas and Universal are right in that case Btw, it's my first post here ;)
