i think 32bit = 4GB (2'32=4294967296), with large adress aware flag. of course, you need a 64bit OS with a large bunch of ram, but it's doable. anyway , it's always useless to argue on the internetzzz lolz -
hi xeno ! :) i 'm playing your domi AI east , and i notice something unexpected . after losing all my AI teammate, i heard some SVD shot. and after tracked the sound, i saw an east sniper. but i 'm playing alone, and i 'm alone in my team. that means that some friendly AI are in the town area , helping us . is it purpose ? i find that quite cool anyway, i would just you confirm that .

dont forget to test it WITHOUT ANY ADDONS , first. CBA 1.2 was cause of stuttering on 1.03 ...

performance is greatly improve, in fast speed traveling over landscape. no more freeze, only "stuttering" . it's a big plus

the parameter scenecomplexity should NOT be in arma2.cfg , but in $playername.profile 160000 might be equal to "normal" 500000 is high and 1M = very high. so , putting this value to 160000 make lod worst than settings on object detail to high... i think to only way actually, for get better LOD of vehicle, is to set this value to 2000000 or 3000000. hoping engine isn't capped to 1 millions -

you need more than dual core , in order to play in smoothest way. 3 core is the minimum decent way to play arma2 , because game usually eat 55-60% of my quadcore . count .

i can't play alone , AI comm doesn't work. i can't vote for one, and when i look leaderboard, i see enemy side didn't build anything

picts in chernarus woods, or it didn't happen ! :o this carrier scene, is NO WHERE NEAR what a forest fight near big city is demanding to GPU & CPU. pointless :)

each time i start a game, my BASE is attacked, and many convoy including 2S6 forbid me to use chopper to lift MHQ near towns. please, explain me how erase these convoy , and make peace at our base... edit: ok i found

i agree, with force. recurrent problem, need to be adressed by their creator. ps: these orange tree, are specifically the problem. other tree are lighter on GPU -

we need 2 other climbing animation ! first, small plateform , like railroad way . secondly, we need a wall climbing feature too ! usuable by AI of course !

it's incredibly faster yes. but i'm not sure TSAA 4x is faster than 200% + downsampled in this game. many alpha stuff ... ---------- Post added at 01:13 PM ---------- Previous post was at 01:11 PM ---------- 5, 6, 7, 8, aa option are nvidia only. CSAA or TSAA , and maybe 8x Supersampling. unusable anyway. stay with low or normal. no need to push higher than 4x

i see that ! go in editor , and place your playable unit. then , preview , choose a spot, with car and house. set object quality to "very high" . now, zoom , and see how house and car get their mesh changed with zoom , and . or distant to camera. okay, now, choose 3D fillrate 200%. and check again ... game is now marvelous , but it's a slideshow :D. need 4 ATI card or a 720p display ;)
