    Sorry to see FDF gone for OFP/resistance... we use the mod on our Aussie OGN server still...and it will keep running until Armed assault arrives on our door step.... goodnight.gif

    Thanks for all the work you have done and kept the Downunder servers running on a teriffic mod....

    Hope the Future for FDF will climax in Armed assault WWII mod smile_o.gif

    What I want to see is the Water.....

    Lots of talks on the waves splashing on the shore and as the weather gets worst ... so the waves get bigger....

    The xbox video from E3 that someone took tho its not very good but gives you a idea of what the water looks like smile_o.gif

    Anyone seen any water shots from armed assault....tho the picture below with the truck...if you look in the back ground has the same effect as the xbox waves

    Thank the Gods its nearly here.......I have been waiting for months for this train......and the Ideas that we could use with it,,,thanks to AEF...this will be another turn point in addons for OFP.....with this addon we now have all Transports completed...... biggrin_o.gif

    Is this a "real" boat or an imaginary one?

    Based on a real one.

    The Huckins Yacht Corporation (Huckins Yacht Works) built a small number (18) of fast patrol torpedo boats during WW2. Although none were used in actual combat, Huckins designed boats were assigned to the training squadron, in Melville Rhode Island, the Panama Canal zone and Hawaii.

    Getting information about the Huckins PT boats has been difficult. I sent an email to the company.. yes it still builds boats.. but not heard back from them yet.

    I have had to use modeller's license on a number of features, but as explained at the beginning of this thread, the model is being used as a testbed.. At the moment it has basic textures, and I have taken some liberties with the armament smile_o.gif However, when it is finished it will be released, whether it will be used by mission makers or ww2 mod makers is entirely up to those concerned. For me it has been a fun addon and it has enabled me to try a host of new things...

    This will help dude... I was in the middle of building the PT109 but didnt have time to finished her.....got all my info from here and the drawings......found to be one of the best sites and accurate...want the info...goto the ppl who were their
