I wouldn't recommend the G940 (at least not at this point), as it has lots of issues,... center slop play, stick overheating, trim wheels and rotaries lack center detents, software problems, don't work with games that only support one controller, etc. If you want a simple joystick, get the Thrustmaster T.16000M, it's cheap, under $50, but comfortable, and extreemly precise because of the hall effect sensor technology it uses. If you're looking for a serious HOTAS setup, pay attention to the Saitek X65F Pro, force sensing HOTAS, which is scheduled to ship next month, and the Thrustmaster Warthog A-10 HOTAS (that thing weighs 6KG BTW) coming out some time this year. The X-52 Pro is OK, very good throttle, better than the CH one, but so so stick, that is why I use the throttle along with my old MSFF2 for FFB.

It's not the random audio cutting out issue with the Razer Megalodon. My problem is that the sound is completely messed up when using the Megalodon 7.1 headset. There's static/popping, weird clipping and other noise. It's only happening with ArmA2, works fine with every other game I play. And it's only happening when using this headset, when I swtich to my X-fi with 5.1 speakers, everything works fine. I used to be able to use that headset with ArmA2 without problems but that was with 1.02 and on Vista x64, since then I took a 4 month break with the game. Now I'm using Win 7 x64, and there's no way to change configuration to 5.1 like in Vista. Anyone else has similar issues with their headsets?

I have the same auido problem with my Megalodon 7.1 headset, but it's not a 24-bit 96Hz issue for me, as the headset is fixed at 16bit 48Hz. Sound is completely messed up, popping, static, everything, when using the headset with the game. And it's only happening with ArmA2, works fine with every other game I play. What's wrong with that? Star Wars The Old Republic is gonna be one of the best MMOs when it comes out. It's being made by Bioware the creator of the first KOTOR game. I'm personally looking forward to that one myself. Besides, only a handful of people voted, a few thousands, and there're like millions of gamers out there that don't even know there's a vote going on at that site.

Would love to vote for AH, but the most anticipated game for me is Bad Company 2. Been dying for a new Battlefiled game on the PC for a long long time. AH is a third, after Just Cause 2.

You think hackers can't hack your computers and steal your DVD key?

Regarding moving paging file to a secondary physical drive, do you still need to keep a small paging file on the system drive (c:\), say 1GB? For Vista, I remember I read it somewhere that you need to do that, but not sure if that's really necessary for Win 7.

I recommend DVD only because it's a lot cheaper than the Steam version, like 25+ USD cheaper, otherwise I have no issues with Steam... in fact I bought a lot of games off Steam just a while ago during Thanksgiving, with great deals like $4.99 for Mirror's Edge, $24.99 for Batman: Arkham Asylum and Resident Evil 5, $49.99 for THQ pack with 20+ AAA titles, etc. I mean where else could u find such deals if not at Steam? And why would I ever wanna uninstall Steam, LOL? I tend to backup my games as soon as I've DL'ed them anyway.

Isn't the F-35 supposed to be really easy to fly IRL because of the digital fly-by-wire flight control system it is using? Not so in this game, LOL.

What makes people think cheating is a problem in this game? ArmA2 isn't popular enoguh for any of the major hack sites to even consider profitable making hacks for. Game should be pretty much hack free.

I was told not to leave discs sitting in the drive when not in use. Don't know why though.

LOL, Call of Juarez : Bound in blood has way worse graphics, 7/10: While it is much sharper than the original, the poor texture work, loads of technical glitches and stiff facial animations holds the game back. Also, what's up with limited enemy faces? ArmA2's is 9/10: Amazing visuals at nearly every level of this game with just a few small rough spots. Performance is an issue.

SP2 initially gave me issues too. The whole computer had become very sluggish, even the nvidia control panel took forever to start up. After running Windows Update a few times and installing the 186.18 nvidia drivers, everything went back to normal, in fact, Vista now loads faster than before with SP1.

Never had it then. Try uninstall the drivers and run driver sweeper in safe mode before re-installing.

You would last longer than 2min. No one can turn off grass in RL, and the AI is dumber.
