More than likely this will be the only place that will hate on OFP: DR. Everyone else around the web and in game reviews will be calling it a milsim and praising it etc. Thats what i honestly think will happen.

I been looking all over the forums and cant find it, i even looked at all the dev posts trackers. No mention at all of a 1gb file or any file that we will have to download on release. Only thing is that we will be able to play instantly when it releases... Link or something if its true please.

Hopefully it wont be 1gb, did the devs say so or something? Im a noob to this pre loading stuff.

You can now pre download the game on steam. I've downloaded the game, its 4.1GB's of goodness. It unlocks June 17th, cant wait.

Looks like they have finished with the AI part of the game then. As said on DR forums, its quite common for people to move on once there part is finished in a project. Look forward to see what he gets up to at crytek.

I must say, i didnt think much of sims before i installed the game. But my friend gave me the game and i figured id give it a go. Anyways the game is hella addictive. Anyone else into it? Its got so much depth !!!

Yet in COD6 you face waves of enemies in the campaign and never die, you are like a god and thats how they want you to feel, arcade at its finest. In OFP2 the enemy can take you out in 1 hit, its totally different gameplay. I didnt play BF:BC, but i did play BF2 and BF1942. To say it will be anything like that is a bit silly and so unrealistic that it doesnt deserve a response.

Americas Army 3 comes out on 17th and Arma 2 comes out on 19th, sheesh. Good thing university exams finish on the 16th for me =D.

I only really put up with many bugs on release and other issues in the MMORPG genre (World of Warcraft, Warhammer Online, LOTRO etc). Since those games are very large and 50x as big a project than what Arma2 or any other non MMO game is. Hope they work out the bugs within a reasonable time.

The only thing i guess OFP2 has over Arma 2 currently is the radio chatter (and OFP2's wasnt even good, but still better than Arma 2's). I also like the island they are working with, would be cool if Arma2 has that island.

From all the vids posted on youtube, my only concern is the robotic like radio voice stuff going on.

Yes but what are your other specs and what was your framerate etc, what were all settings set at? Im very curious since i have an 8800GT and its basicly identical to a 9800GT.

Never seen such a big title get a 4/10 anywhere before. I thought that area was reserved for bob the builder and some crappy disney games lol. After seeing some MP gameplay vids, im surprised of the 4/10, obviously they were angry at all the bugs. I hope things get sorted out, and some great reviews arrive. Unfortunately the game wont be out for a while in australia, so by the time the game comes it will be 'teh pwns' and will get good reviews.

I dont really wanna do CDWOW, dont want a foreign box. I want an aussie box with all our classification and shiz. I might be tempted to order on CDWOW though as time passes, getting a lil bored of counter strike source and team fortress 2.

Prolly best to just wait till the July 9th release rather than import from overseas. This way there will b many more people playing it and all. Rather not paly when multiplayer is a ghost town.

I've been looking into CDWOW, its so tempting since its like half the price of what we will pay in the game retail stores. I guess since its imported and all, it wont have all the aussie classifications tuff on it? like MA15+ and all that but it will the the euro version. I dont really buy games online, apart from digital download... but i prefer a hard copy. I just keep thinking the game box and all will be in bad condition and wont be all shiny and new lookin like in retail stores. Poor things been imported from the other side of the world !!! =(
