  3. agreed DevilDog. Dont give up the ship so easily. You mentioned you were in the service I believe. Perhaps your experiences can be applied here to bring a new twist. Im one of those people that is very interested in this but has not commented til now.

    ok trying this module out. I have the IED and suicide bomber modules on the map (fallujah) along with ambient civilian expansion and ambient vehicles. I have these parameters in both modules. this setVariable ["reezo_eod_probability",1.0];this setVariable ["reezo_eod_interval",60]; Drove and walked around fallujah for 30 minutes, saw vehicles, people but no kaboom. Not even anyone threatening. What am I doing wrong.

    I guess what I was thinking is the spotter is tied to the equipment he is carrying. If the original spotter is killed, I can have another AI guy retrieve the radio and now he is the spotter. Make sense?

    Blake Great job on this addon. Tried a simple mission with a marksman as the FO. Once he spotted the enemy rounds were inbound. He was doing a bit of a dance to figure out what stance he wanted to use. He had binos, would pull them out then put them away go prone with no weapon, the revert back to his weapon. Nothing major. The new patches are making the AI very smart now. They wont just run across open fields anymore, they advance with cover. Two suggestions. 1. Possible to make the spotter dependent on a having a piece of gear to be able to spot. If he loses his radio he cant spot. 2. Possible to make a script version so all those servers out there wont flip out because they have to add an addon. Keep up the great work. PS Just played with it some more. Had a 5 man fire team advancing with and observer with them. As they advanced the arty rounds advanced with them. Pretty awesome stuff. One last thing that would be great. Instead of placing a module that creates arty, allow us to place the arty on the map then tie the module to them.

    How do you use the Get in command though when commanding a group through HC that is not part of your direct group.

  12. Hi DAP Tried this system last night and love the idea. Set a battle up and did not notice the ai doing anything. I had the BS battle clearance module in there and ACE wounds turned off. Ill try again tonight to make sure I didnt miss anything. Ive got CBA in there because ACE is in there.

    Domz You did a first class job on this system. I loved Cent original HC system and this takes it to the next level. Im still playing with it trying to figure out how it works. One thing Im noticing is (and this may be just me) some of the commands dont seem to work when looking at the map. You need to be in the 3d world ie getting units to merge into one large unit. Ill keep testing this. I love the way you can set units in missions though with out having to make the high command structure in the editor. Also like the new icons. Now if you can figure out how to get units to load and unload out of vehicles using the HC you will have it made. I know with cent's old system you could combine and make large groups that you could join on yourself ( I had one group with 90 soldiers in it) and then select groups of 10 to load into trucks. I havent seen how to do it using the HC command set though. Keep up the great work.

    with kremator on this in the command mode. The graphic of the unit at the bottom turns Yellow in the command mode but there is no indicator on the map of who and where this unit is. I have to move them to a spot I can see then try to watch which unit goes there. The tactical unit markers all show an infantry unit as well so you cant tell if your dealing with an armored unit or vehicle of infantry.

    nope no circles. I looked at the mission and dont see the HC modules in there. Are you using a different method?

    having a problem with HC as well. Cant identify which units Im controlling with so many units on the map. Since your not using the BIS HC system there is no circles around units, is that correct?

    Ok so I tried this mission and am a little confused on what we should be doing. We go into towns and the hashing changes to blue and the flag to green. I understand the flag means the population likes us? Are we suppose to converse with the population. They dont respond to anything. Are there caches in the towns. Occasionally a convoy will roll in to get blasted but they are so small not much happens. With the apache you can basically hunt down the convoys and take them out. So Im not sure what the point of the mission is. Also we cant find the PrC119 to be able to call in air assets or medevac. Would love more guidance on how to handle this mission as it looks interesting in concept. Thanks much.
  19. This was CBA. Thanks Jaynus for the reply. Question why wouldnt you follow the numbering convention of the mod. I understand not keeping up with the latest mod rev but dont understand changing the numbering convention. The reason for my concern is Im getting errors on some missions about version mismatches on a home server the I have that uses Six updater and the UO mod set. Both say they have the same version so Im not sure where to go now for trouble shooting this.
  20. Using the latest version of six updater with the united operations custom repo. the repo list says Im on 160 but in game it says 159. Is this working correctly?

  22. Hi Shay Im trying your system for the first time as it looks very interesting. I depboed your fallujah mission. Is it set up for the new version 1.2 of the map. Your arty coordinates dont look correct and units are set off the map.

    very nice Job Draper. The AI aircraft seem to fly in a logical path and dont porpoise all around. Very interested to see the cargo transport piece. Keep up the good work.
