Well, as far as I understand, yeah. (Meaning that you could actually model & animate some artillery piece's "barrel"/gun to actually react to the recoil the firing sequense causes. But keep in mind that I'm not the expert here.) -

Well, I am thinking about making a HAW-206 REV2 for my school-grad-project. Actually, I have done quite bit research and the weapon-systems definately seems to be doable, but ofcourse, I have about half-year time to work with this little addon and I will try to do my best in order to archieve my objectives. (Also, I didn't draw that picture, but since that's in digital format and my own drawings are in physical, its easier to get the general picture.) -
Actually that same problem just killed me too few minutes earlier. Situation: I was suppose to shoot down enemy airplane with ZU-23, but instead of actually shooting down the damn thing, my character decided that it would potentially be more fun to just sit in the back seat and watch how the enemy airplane strafed my positions and killed me.

Are these only sample models without textures? (What I mean is that I didn't get any textures ingame when I tried them in the editor) -
1.03 does indeed mess up the sound-engine(if it can be called sound-engine).

Actually sea-bass reminded me about one thing I've been kinda missing from VopSound. The bass. Just little extra punch to the weapon sounds (perhaps for grenade explosions as well?), but on the otherhand, I don't know if the VopSound sounds are allready realistic or not, but I just kinda feel like some sounds could use little bit more bass. Excelent soundmod othervice. (Me and my oh-so-good ENGRISH. And that was intentional typo.)

Now I'm not soundmod, config, expert/veteran or anything like that, but couldn't the A10 firing sound "problem" be solved, hyphothetically, with somekind of scripting? If the distance was greater than say, I don't know, what, 2 km, the script would "skip" the initial firing sound of the A10 for the players that were about 2 km from A10, and play distant "WRUMMMH"-sound about two second later for the players that were two km away from the A10. This way we could possibly have the splash sound before the firing sound, and ofcourse, the script probably would need to detect the distance of the players, and then play the "correct" "WRUMMH"-sound after few seconds later depending on the player distance. But ofcourse, this is just hyphothesis and I have no idea whatsoever if it even could be possible with the current sound-engine. -

ArmA2 doesn't have any "official" publisher in Finland. Or well, if it is, its in digital format. Nice move 505 Games! (And yes, when I asked from Gamestop seller about ArmA2, he said that it will be only digitaly released in Finland, and when I asked about the same subject from Tilt's seller, he said that ArmA2(boxed version) doesn't have official publisher in Finland. -

HAHA. No. T72's FCS nor the main-gun's sure didn't help Iraqis. Steel Panthers - Turn based game. T-72 Balkans on Fire - Only three usable vehicles. And not a single combat involving 1500 AI-units or over 50 vehicles at the same time. Tiger vs T34 - Only two usable vehicles. Again, rather small scale battles involved. Red Orchestra Ostrfont 1941-1945 - So by your logic, it's a good or atleast decent to have T34-76 destroying a tiger with two shots to the frontal armor from 700-900 meters away? Or having a PTRD-anti tank rifle blowing up a tiger with one or two shots? WW2 Online - It's a server-side calculation. Also, you can't get out from the tanks. BF2 - Last time I checked you didn't have maps with armor combat involving LOS ranges over 2km. Oh wait, maybe you were just trolling.

Last time I checked the battle of Kursk wasn't fought by 25 guys on the soviet side and 25 guys on the german side. Nor was the battle(s) of Berlin: LmyXVbIYFE4 RO learning curve: First day: You totally hate this game. Second day: You give it a try, you start liking it littlebit. Third day: You just basically fall love with this game once you've learned the basics and basic-tactics. -
