Hi Dantheman, welcome to the forum, for your first question, use choppers or cars to drive around the places you think is the spot, gone be bit off a search cause its big map but you need only arround the river i guess! second, you can place a empy vehicles,puth its damage to full and you can see it catch fire, or you can place a fireplace to warm you feet:D have fun and good luck make sure to read up on this forum for idea's and solutions cya -

best is to puth it on act.West without sync and place trigger 50m away in the direction the heli will go and it will work, if the music works that is, you can even use the music already in the game by going to effect on the bottom in trigger, hope it helps, -

First off, dont think BI will make a Arma3 or its gone be by the year 2020, mayby il buy it 2, @fantsu, dont know what your problems are with Arma2,but I can tell you its better then OFP and it will keep improving a lot, there been some issues solved with the patches, Il bet you just played the campain, tell me if I am wrong, the campain is a big bugfest far as I know in Arma2, its been improved but it still have issues. My advice to you and others dont waste your time on the campain but use the editor to get to know the game and its content without getting shot at. cya -

there are some great units around, check the complete addons tread, or check out Armaholic.com for addons,missions,etz. There is a Vietnam mod called VTE for Arma2, its just a start but you can find it usefull for what you looking for, later -

question is how you want to use the music,if its in a trigger you can activate it by west or unit or vehicle. Sync the trigger with a unit or vehicle and puth activate by what you want for mission! -
High Command Editor questions.

Hi MacScottie, the high command fuction is great but it has his limits 2, one off those is getting your men in to vehicles, you can make your Inf.squads into Motorised or mechanised by puthing a vehicle in team, And else in SP you can make the teamleaders off each squad playable so you can switch between teams to give them better orders! hope its some help, later -

Thats because they are a Arma1 addon, porting units over from A1 to A2 wont work because the models are not the same or other model, -

hi, dont know if there is a limit but i guess there would be, how many objects are already placed? normally they would show in the editor without problems. try to reduce the objects already placed to see if you can get new empty stuff on. cya -
How to: Edit the Helo Insertion point on the smaller Custom Islands?

It depend on the place off the missionstuff, when placing the mission on a smaller map some stuff or all can be then outside the map and not be used, eay way to solve: first load you mission on chernarus, puth everything bit close together so its easy'er to get all stuff over, then save. second. make a missionmap on the new small island and place your mission in, when you start the mission you will see where your stuff comes, now you can move your stuff in the chernarus mission so you can have all off it on the small map! hope it makes some sence:D later -

Hi and welcome to forum, yeah 38mb mission is indeed a bit to big i guess. are the music files .ogg files?but prob is its to big to play in MP,would take forever to load, normal missions are usually around 1mb. -

hi, you where close but you should lookt in this tread insted off posting here asking about addons, there is a search fuction 2,and there are sites like armaholic.com or armedAssault.info to find all you want, there are some great addons around that will give you the troops you want, just look in this tread for some units or check the sites. -

you can find 2 armored ones in West-Cars,and the rest is in Civilian cars they are great fun and indeed a great tool to clear a path trough a minefield or to clear a road. -
hi guys, If you are intressed in the game but wonder if you want to buy it, I can only say check out the gazillion pics and movies,read the different forums(not only here)and if you like big military simulation games this is the 1 for you but its nothing like FPS's like BF and COD4, it have a steep learning curve and can be hard to play in begining,but you will have lots off fun ones you know the game, in SP or MP. There are lots off sources about the game so you can make up your own mind about buying it or not!

hi SNKMAN, thx for the update, only thing i noticed is that enemy AI only will support each other when attacked by player,not when attacked by other AI, even when you switch players in SP via Teamswitch,they will react to you but no reinforcments are called, AI vs AI that fight each other and calling in support would be great, dont know if its intended only for player(i guess so for MP)but would be great for in SP. anyway great stuff,
