Hey Tovaris, That looks cool, I hope you can finish it, if you have any quetions about oxygen please ask:) -
I dont know what other advice we can give you, you have 3 options right now: 1) Upgrage your hardware 2) Get a new laptop 3) Put your OFP on the lowest settings and see if it helps but dont expect it to look good. Hope this helps :)

If its a folder or .pbo file with .into it's a mission for "desert island" you can use it in your missions, sp missions, user missions and mp missions folder. Most likely in SP missions :)

I wish I was back in the good old days when I had my pentium 2 and the fan sites were full of addons and mods, now we got multi core processors, games full fo special effects that dont even look real. OFP has none of this and its still good and I love playing it What I'm trying to say is when so little addons are being released I'm happy and exited about every addon and mod that is released especially if its cool like this one. Thanks popka

You could release a non-addon version for people who prefer it like that but I'm definetly gonna download the addon version :bounce3: -
Your graphic settings are too low, increace your LOD's in the flashpoint preferences.

You should leave that for the moderators ;-) You should open standart OFP mission to learn how they work first before going on in to mods :)

I never thought of that, you can try it, It would really be good if it could speed up Wrp tool :) Btw, I had the windows 7 BETA and OFP works there perfectly so we're safe until 2012 when the next windows will come out :D When are you planing to release this masterpeice anyway? :) -

I like this one the most :) What operating system do you use? On older OS's like windows 2000 the memory handling isnt the best, even when I had windows XP I often got memory crashes when working with bigger textures in wrptool but since I upgraded to windows vista all those problems are history :) -
Use one of the .pbo tools on ofp.gamepark.cz to unpbo the mission, personally I would suggest using UnPbo as it is very simple to use for now but as you get more experienced it would be good to use Decryptor 1.5 by Amalfi as Rellikki said becaouse it dosent have such a big performance hit on your computer like UnPbo :) Then once you have the mission folder move it to your OFP users directory which is usually C:\program files\codemasters\operation flashpoint\users\your name\missions Then start mission editor, select "Load", choose the island the mission is on (each mission folder has an extencion .ABEL, .CAIN etc...) and select the mission name ;)

You can also download a .pbo tool to make your mission folder in to .pbo file/alternatively the game can do this for you if you select Save > Export to Singleplayer/Multiplayer Missions. You can also use a image editor such as Photoshop, Paint.net, Gimp to make pictures for your mission. There are also sound tool, scripting tools etc... on this site under "utilities" http://ofp.gamepark.cz/ Have fun :)

You know a long time ago I found something strange I dont know if it's true or not but these names are very similar to the bible both in terms of the island and in terms of the story line. EDEN (Garden of Eden) is the main island were it all begins and starts taking place (Everon). CAIN & ABEL the two borthers, the two island in game one is evil (Kolgujev) and the second is good (Malden). CAIN kills ABEL just like Kolgujev Attacks Malden in the game. Just thought I would write this before I forget it again :D EDIT: BIS always has some kind of easter eggs and mystery in their games, that makes them even more fun :)

I use oxygen 2 for OFP becouase I can't see any textures in the old oxygen and also it does have some cool new features :) The only thing that dosent work when saving a model in Oxygen 2 are hidden selections so I have to export the model to old .p3d, open it in oxygen 1 and then make the hidden selections there :)

Its about time someone made a new nature pack for OFP anyway :mad: -
I got my OFP: CWC for £5 and a few years later I got my OFP GOTY for £10 :D I had to re-burn my GOTY edition many times in case I lost the original game, that would be something unimaginable :crazy:

Personally I thnik that grass in OFP or ArmA1 dosent look very good, the good thing about OFP is you can have high resolution ground textures and they look good even from far away but then if you put some grass you see a line of grass there then a load of empty space and another bunch of grass, dosent look too real. In ArmA the grass looks good but when you look in front it disaperas and you can see those nasty low resolution satelite map textures.
