Hey Everyone, I don't know where to post this because but anyway, I'm working on this short, quick project, it's called the ArmA II Editing Tools Manager, which is basically like a launcher for ArmA II editing unities allowing you to run a program with just 2 clicks. The Benefits Every utility is in one place so you don't have to search for it in the start menu Each program is in its own category, e.g. BINPBO, unRap are in the "scripting" category, so everything is well organised You can have the program open when Windows starts, which is handy, or pin it to your task bar (for windows 7 users) and have quick access to every program you need Features Very low resource consumption You can change the path to each program Screen shot Please note that this is not finished yet. What I need from you guys! I need you guys to come up with all the community made programs that you use the most for ArmA 2 editing and post their names and download links here so I can add them to the ArmA II Editing Tools Manager. Also please leave your comments and any questions that you have!

Hey guys, The Takistani re-skin is complete! Here are some screen shots (I think my colours are a bit too deep, I might make them lighter after I test the super filter) Now I will be working on a Czechoslovak re-skin which can be seen in the picture bellow: More Mig-15 designs can be found here: http://holybork.com/forums/viewthread/1487/P135/#32976 I'll keep this thread updated as I finish the skins. Looks very nice mmm since I'm making these other skins maybe you would like to add your polish Mig to ours so we can make like a big pack? Thanks for the mirrors guys and be sure to check this thread because the final version will come out soon with Takistani, chernarus and so on... skins. I'll be sure to use the arma 2 super shader for the final release. So now, back to work on the mig-15 -

Well, the good news it that I managed to obtain the MLOD, so now I'm working on a Takistani texture, there will also be a Chernarus texture, maybe Czechoslovak/Polish too. Here is a WIP screenie: -

Hey everyone, Sorry for the delay, the config is such a mess but I managed to some how get it to work, although there are still some things that need to be fixed, if anyone feels like it please have a look at the config, I haven't got any more time for this addon, only if I get a MLOD of the model I'll come back to fix everything. Taviana Island for ArmA 2!

Hello everyone! It’s time for an update, because I haven’t posted anything in the Taviana thread for a while now. First of all I would like to thank everyone who participated in the performance test, your help is very much appreciated and vital to this projects success. BETA test results: The results from the beta testers show that despite the large forests on the island everyone has a decent frame rate on their PC, the lowest frame rate was 25FPS I believe, even with these results I will delete some trees and make bigger gaps between them in the forests to help AI a bit, I might also mix in other trees. All the beta testers liked the island which is very good news and also left me a few suggestions which I will try to add, one of them is a smaller island beside the main one. The Future of Taviana I am now working on fixing bugs, unfinished things etc... And I hope to release a public beta of South Taviana for everyone by the end of this month (October 2010). Some new screenshots: Here are some new screenshots, both from the country side and the capital city, Sabina. The "Freedom Tunnel" which is the first tunnel in any BIS game, runs under the whole Northern part of the capital city Sabina, it is roughly 1.2km long and features a road, 2 rail ways lines and an underground train station as seen in earlier screenshots. (Please don't mind the flying buildings and strange ground textures, this is still WIP) Remember those grey apartment blocks from OFP: Resistance? They are back on Taviana, and look great like they did in OFP! This is the national museum of Taviana, the model is finished but I still need to convert the textures from OFP (again don't mind the grass, its still WIP). A look at Grad KruÅ¡eviÄ (Castle Krushevich), one of the many castles on Taviana. A look at Grad KruÅ¡eviÄ from the air. That's it for now. More info will be posted next week. Until then, Papa bear out. -

Hey guys, sorry for the hold up. I've been having some trouble with the author, he gave permission for everything, then I asked him for the mlod model to fix some details and he never replayed. I will post the link to the working Mig-15 tomorrow or today in the evening! PS. Any luck extracting the mlod with that tool? I've got permission so no worries. -

Damn, the crew of that bear sure likes to do sudoku puzzles huh? :biggrin: Looks good, keep it up! EDIT: This plane has a very complex UV map, but the checkers fit nicely, no distortion and stuff so I have everything goes well Oleg, keep us updated!

ArmA II Editing Tools Manager (WIP)

Thanks for the reply, what I'm making is basically a program which will contain buttons to start BIS Editing Tools and tools made by the community. You can imagine this like a big start menu full of only tools for ArmA II. So now imagine that your making some kind of addon and now you need to start a program which you don't use very often, normally you would have to dig trough your start menu full of stuff to find it, but if you got this manger that I'm making you just click on the appropriate category and click its icon. It's quick and the best thing is, you don't need to clutter your start menu or desktop with program because they are all in this manager. -

I don't know, I never looked at an air plane model in ArmA 2, the Mig-15 will be the first, but I guess it will still use the Czech names, which is good for me :biggrin: I noticed that the model does have flaps which are separate from the wing but they don't work in ArmA 1 too so I guess he forgot to define them. You can extract the model, he said that he will "look" for the MLOD if he still has it but because he doesn't reply so long I guess he can't find it. SO extract it and PM it to me ASAP :smile: Looks awesome in OFP, in ArmA 2 it will be the worst model. There isn't enough detail on the wheels and its kind of low poly. But of course you can port anything from OFP as long as you have the authors permission. If you got modelling skills you can use the first LOD in that OFP model as a second LOD in the ArmA 2 model and build a more detailed LOD based on that. Then it will look good. -
Oxygen 2 is the best on the earth :biggrin: Just kidding, but it isn't too bad, nice and simple, I know games that have much a more confusing SDK :crazy:

Ours is ready too, at the moment I'm waiting for the author to send me the Mlod so I can fix the flaps. Did you manage to fix the aiming in the cockpit, its a bit off centre? -
Damn that cockpit looks f*ing amazing :butbut: You have a real talent, why aren't you working for BIS yet? :biggrin: I guess it's gonna take some time to texture all those little details but still I can't wait to see. Some how that cold war feeling of the bear reminds me of OFP. Keep up the great work!

Oh man I just remembered he isn't showing pictures from Bulldozer, damn too much work :annoy: Should have hit me that everything has the same colour anyway :blush: EDIT: But it kind of does look like a texture in the second picture, I guess that is noise from making the picture small? Spot on Hammer!
