Well i never use the sniper gun and i dont like the aimpoint (for me) i use iron sights only and use them on close combat from within a building, corner of building or in a bunker. Thats how you can still get 30:1 Im sure you can do it to

I am a human and somehow i can have a kill rate of 30:1 on a regular base aginst this so called "super human ai" How can it be that most people in the servers i play can have these figures most of the time? They seem hard until you adapt, like it was pointed out several times now. Try a different tactic dudes and it will work for most people. If you know the ai follows you even when behind cover than APAPT give it some time and most ai will stand up and try to come at you, that is the time to come out again and kill them. But i gues some people dont like to train their skill. Maybe bis can put some dummy mode under the cadet mode so these people have a happy game to. If they ai is so called "super" then i have to be realy realy super duper cause i can kill 30 of them with one life ?!

For me the ai doesnt seem to dificould and i agree with Dallas, you need your cover. I have played many hours against many ai of normal skill and when you know how to play you can get kill rates off 20-to-1 or even 30-to-1 That is very far from the real life 1:1 or 3:1 Use cover, i like bunkers and 1st floors of houses. Sit on your knees, shoot one and go prone right away (like i would do in real life) Give it 10-30 secs and repeat. This can be done from behind hills to. Flank after some kills to the next house/bunker/hill. As for tanks, go in tanks squads or use infantery squads around you for spotting enemy. In this game you need to be planning every step or ride very carefully. The minute i think Rambo and im death. And some of you people are realy a bit acting like cry babies. Of course the enemy will shoot at you and dont stop until they kill you when they spot you, what kind of a game you think this is ?!

I thought it was the ultimate combat simulator. Including tanks I play this game a lot, and i like it a lot. But i still think it is not so strange that some one finds it unrealistic that you can shoot tanks with a rifle. The man has a point. -
well it seems that the US cant even control Iraq very well, they took it, but can they hold it ? F-22's are not so good at detecting road side bombs for example. So i think this example applies to Sharani.

Man i realy dont get it why the game industry does not get it yet. The MFcti game mode rules and will be a concept that will eventualy stay. Before you had C&C renegade for example and it was quite sucsesfull, but notting like ofp mfcti. Imagine this FPS MFCTI mode for C&C games like: world in conflict, compagny of heroes etc etc. Even Medieval total war would be a blast from this first person perspective. Again i think the MFcti and rts4 people are on to a winner here. And i still dont get it that BIS made such a weak take off from this game mode, im sure most of them played mfcti so why did they not talked with the original developpers of this game mode and made it together. A big missed chance, they could have used it for better advertising this game to. Thats it again for my monthly MFcti rant Good day. [edit: some spelling]

This mission is quite nice and i am very thankfull to the people who made it. A couple of comments i'dd like to add. I MP we have respawn for this mission and in SP we have to save. The autor stated that he would like to keep everything as much the same as in the MP version, but the save and respawn make it quite a different game. With respawn i have to stay alive else i have to travel the whole thing again to my town. One might die but than an other soldier goes again for the objective. With the saving i can save before every situation ( 3 sec before) and if i die i know exactly where they are and kill them. With respawn i arive at town again and dont know where they all are. Quite a difference in game play. With saving i have the feeling i clear thei isle with one (rambo) soldier. With respawn it gives me the feeiling i trow multiple soldiers into the battle that i happen to control. No dissapointment, just a comment An other thing i seem to notice is the the towns dont seem to get reinforced as in multi player, could that be right ? Thanks again to the makers of this content, it keeps me bussy for weeks

I suppose there is still no MFCti news on the horizon. Most tactical game mode for me :P I still wish some people would play it in public. In the end days of ofp it seemed it was the only map played. I still dont get it why that cant be in Arma. Balancing can be done by addons for example. I suppose i am howling at the moon alone.

Did any one else notice that your firing mode switches back to default after using your binoculars? Going into a close fight i like to set my firing mode to full or burst, but i use my binoculars a lot when moving around. So all of a sudden my rifle is on songle shot again when i meet some enemies around a corner. This is very inconvenient in the middle of some fights. I am sure this can be easely fixed cause this is not right. Thank you.

MFCTI in ofp was very dynamic, specialy with multi player. In arma it can be to i think. I used to play a lot of MFCTI in ofp on my own to and had a lot of fun like that. In arma the ai seems to get more stuck on bridges and stuff, or get realy stuck in weird places. It is just a pitty MFCTI is never going on for multi player on a public server. But CTI wise i like MFCTI the most (compliments) and RTS4 rocks to in multi player No MHQ makes BIS their CTI a bit weak i think, pitty. CTI mode is for me the most fun game mode off all games i play and played so keep up the good work people.

How would you like it if you put your weapon on safe "in real life" and find out, after beeing in a car, that it jumped back to fire mode ? The switch should stay in the position that it was left in.

Well i like to thank the MFcti creator(s) anyway because it gave me so much fun in OFP, and allready some in Arma. Thanks and respect. Best gaming mode ever, FPS/RTS is the future

I think it is strange that my weapon changes firing mode by it self. It should stay on the setting it was last on.

Why is nobody playing MFCTI anymore ? This used to be a very poplular game mode that was played a lot in the end day's of OFP. It seemed is was the most popular mode in th eend day's. I like this mode the most of all against other players because the game was never the same and it uses the full potential of the engine by letting u buy full squads and bring them to war. So i was very happy to see that the man who made the MFCTI ported it straight to arma. But the map gets almost never played, in OPF there was always one starting to join in. So i urge people to at least try MFCTI, maybe we can all play this mode together again in the future. Of course there is RTS 4 to, and this map/mode i like a lot to. Here again it uses the engine to its full potential where you can build full squads. So if you have 64 people building all their 30 units there will be 1920 units wandering around the island. That is total war in my opinion and i dont get it that not more people would like to try this out. Greetings and respect; Code

I dont see why OFP is better than arma. and i have played "a lot" of OFP. Just like it OPF it took me a while to adapt to arma but now i seem to be flying. When OFP came out it was the first of its kind, that gave me the most magic feeling because we where exploring a new terrain in gaming. Beeing able to get into any verhicle was new and exiting. These days there are many more fps that have verhicles and big maps so the feeling is not the same anymore as in the old days. But that is not because arma is lacking or to bugged i think. In the first place i was very happy to see that Arma is so simular to OFP and that they didnt break the old game down for the sake of a new title. The little downside of this is that in some places Arma looks like a good skinning job on OFP and it is a pitty that some of the old like ladder bugs have not been solved for arma. But so far all the gaming modes i tred are very playable, co-op, ctf, rts4, mfcti, hold, etc. So for me Arma is much better and i can never go back to OFP.
