    Thanks for info about scopes Vilas nice choice.

    okay, so :

    arming AEK and AN, RPK74M, PK with 1P29 (now only AK74M has it)

    arming AK74M with PK-A (scope not done yet) and maybe 2-3 other weapons

    thicker barrel to PKP

    waiting for RPG29 anim from Russian community

    Will you include also "no scope" versions i hope. I'm asking because i'm planning a GRU campaign and many screens i acquired shows that many operatives are not so in line with other special forces and use for example many 74N and 103 without anything. Those along with VAL, still no scope and VSSs, but always, or quite always with a GP. Given this here's my question.

    Today i re-downloaded was your modern pack beta.

    I had a look at the readme and when i saw AEK973 i had a hick! false alarm...

    Btw i Saw the new AK103, amazing animation but i think i have an issue with it.

    This is a command for a VDV Gorka unit to change the gear:

    Seems like the "VAL ironsight" is not working with its own ammo. No problems instead with Nightsight version...have i found a bug or i'm the idiot :D ?

    Ok but again is training, or exports. Not much changed...

    If you can "prove" that is being used in, let's say, frontlines, then i'll be the first to whine after VIlas to have one with its own GP and scope :D

    Vilas just an idea: what about a double magazine for 74s ? You know those attached with blue scotch tape...

    there are 2 AK74M GP 30 with ironsight and with 1P29

    as i will made PK-A i will add it to some weapons as AK74M, AK105 and 2 more

    so same rifle but with ironsight - or PK - or else ?

    @Shrademn'Yyhrs:

    you can find many Abakan equipped soldiers as well but this doesen't mean the're usign it really. I'm the first who wants to see a 103 but i have about 3 photos of soldiers holding it, and clearly no one in a combat zone...

    What i really meant was more choice Vilas. I really don't want "game" stuff are you rightly say. I messed up writing in late night (drunk); must be more precise:

    1) AK104/5 should have a PBS3 -not sure of the number- along with a PK/CLN sight - searchlight for SF would be too much as we don't have the units to be used with.

    2) 74MN for "normal" troops should get a 1P29 along with a GP. Also for SF's 74s you could add a RPK74 magazine option as well as the rubber buttstock cover.

    3) All others AK100 should be gift rifles. 101/102 are international ops/market productions. 104 ok but 103 is unseen... 107/108 i think are BIS idea...

    4) need a "good/real" Gorka uniform. :D

    Before talking about replacements we should wait for vilas to complete his work.

    I think we still need some more modifications: for example i see here talking about the Abakan but its merely a weapon used by some units in testing. It gives no real advantages except the 2 shots in line burst and its design shows a preliminary solution to standards. AEK instead is being employed by combat squads along with its GPs but here in Vilas work still needs a scope of some kind. Then again AK105/104 as well as 103/74MN should get a PBS + PSO/PK and a GP to be assigned to special forces. AK105/104 need a SD + kobra/PK version. For now i keep seeing that many weapons are "upgraded" on with ONE addiction; GRU units seems to be really "rude" this way prefering common AK74MN with GP25 or with a PSO, instead contemporary photos of MVD/SOBR units show that GPs with PK/kobra sights are more common that what seems.

    So keep this in mind before creating replacements... ;)

    Yep but as a GRU team and VDV airborne. Alterned. That's why i keep pression on Vilas for more silencers and GPs and all together in the same rifle :D

    To me there's not enough stuff about RF as well as missions and so on. So i took the idea of Georgia last year and i went on it. If somebody will create a Georgian army mod it would be best and for now Chernarus works fine as an Abkhazia region...
