    I'm free!

I've created a monster! This real-estate-high-lifestyle-crossdressing-being-free-topic has it all Speaking of the topic, i'm going to be free in 32 days. I'm getting home from the army then, woohoo!

This happens without locking the target.

Wwii rts from the makers of il-2 sturmovik

Damn this looks sweet. I've always been very interested in the eastern front campaign. Too many games focus on the fighting on the western front. Graphics look very good, but i'm pretty sure this baby is going to demand a lot from your computer. Any other screenshots available? Anyone? // cam0flage
  6. Why should the TOW be able to lock? TOW 2 doesn't lock on its target in real life, it's wire-guided. // cam0flage

Second russian helicopter downed by missile

Military analysis network has a lot of facts about the Chechnya conflict. Worth checking out if interested. It's sad that western countries really haven't done anything to pressure russians about human rights and the refugee problem. // cam0flage
  8. One has to subscribe to ORBAT.com and pay big bucks. Any free resources? Walker, thanks anyway // cam0flage

Is it expensive to live in southern cali? // cam0flage
  11. Very nice! This adds a totally new dimension into OFP. I've always wanted to make company-size encounters between FDF and Russians. Does anyone know where to get russian ORBATs? // cam0flage

How do i become a good shot?

PKM in OFP really isn't modeled as accurate as it is in real life. I've been shooting with a PKM once, and could easily hit a target at 300m. All I can say is that firing short bursts is better. Hmm, are there any PK addons out? I'd like to get a PKM with a black plastic stock. // cam0flage

    European space agency

A little bit offtopic but still space related, i've been spotting shooting stars a lot lately. Anyone got any good explanation for this? // cam0flage

    Friendly fire

Friendly fire situations are really dangerous on every level. Especially platoon and company commanders must be aware of their squads movements at all times, otherwise there is a risk that squads might break the usual line formation, and get shot to pieces by other squads. Flanking movements are also very risky. I got a good example when our military police company attacked a naval base in the southern coast of Finland. We were shooting blanks and using combat simulators (laser transmitter in the weapon and receivers in the combat vest). Communications systems broke down between the platoons, and 150 soldiers out of 200 were destroyed from friendly fire. You can imagine how many push-ups we had to do after getting the results of the attack // cam0flage

    Mj: 12 documents

I remember making myself a tinfoil hat about 2 years ago, when I was drunk. I still felt being probed and mind controlled, dunno how that is possible? Heh, had a good laugh checking out the "staff" of that website. A bunch of professionals. // cam0flage

    Ofp santa's weapon wish list

I have to agree that NSV 12.7 mm machine gun for the russians would be most essential. Maybe someone could do a proper model using O2? Really makes me sad that BIS was so lazy that they used the same model for the russians. APILAS would be nice too, luckily Blake is doing one. // cam0flage

Xa-188 from dkm mod in the works

Yeah, I know, but I meant that big big stick in the model. Never seen one of those. OMG! I've been riding in that PASI #641 ... I think it was in Syndalen or something. Horrible memories pop up // cam0flage

Xa-188 from dkm mod in the works

The model looks alright, except the textures are pretty crappy. Maybe you should have used the basic FDF camo pattern for PASI. What's the stick sticking up from the cockpit? Never seen a XA-series vehicle with that, looks very weird. // cam0flage

    Apilas in the works...

I'll see what I can do with the manual, they have been cleaning the garrison lately so it might be lost, but lets hope for the best. Sounds like a list of classics It would be nice to see a lot of finnish addons. I'd also like to see RK95 with Leopold 3x sight and KVKK. Taivallahti is a legendary place We are the last guys guarding it, it will be turned over to civil authorities in the end of this year. Did you serve in SpolK or the "car company", these days known as 2. JK? // cam0flage TJ 61

    Apilas in the works...

Blake, I might have something for you concerning 66 KES 75; FDF is running down the garrison of Taivallahti in central Helsinki, which is often my post when i'm on guard duty. I often go wandering around the abandoned garrison, If I remember right I found a manual for 66 KES 75 last time, but left it somewhere there. I'm going there on sunday for 5 days, so I'll try to look for it. It had some pictures and technical data etc. Hehe, could it be possible to model the legendary MUSTI? // cam0flage

    Apilas in the works...

5 sec offtopic: If you want to simulate firing an APILAS at your home, you'll need two friends, a bucket of sand and some tube to represent the APILAS. Take a pleasant position, pretend you are aiming, and tell your friends when you "fire". When you yell fire, your other friend kicks you in the back while the other throws the bucket of sand at you, (without the bucket, of course). I heard this is pretty much the effect when firing a real APILAS, I dunno, i've only fired a practise rocket. // cam0flage

Umm stupid me, there was a picture of the targeting system Looks pretty nice, although it lacks one thing if you want to make it really realistic, but it doesn't actually matter in OFP: The targeting system has another "sight" in the upper left corner of the view. It's the same as the one in the middle, it's positioned like inserting another targeting sight up left and turning it to face 112.5 degrees. This is made to allow left-handed people to launch APILAS too, by just detaching the sight and installing it to the other side of the tube. Is the APILAS going to have the NVG system it includes, so that it can be fired during nighttime? // cam0flage
