Wow! I thought making vehicles like this is impossible. What kind of system will yoke the 2 "cabins" together? Hmm, if this works, someone just has to make the Finnish Nasu

I'm not sure, but I think that picture is edited. Does anybody here know? I've seen that picture before somewhere ... maybe www.opflashpoint.org.

I hope that this thread doesn't die after the FDFMOD pages/forum is opened. I've certainly enjoyed posting here.

Damn. Someone releases this kind of addon and my internet connection at home is broken. Could someone post a few screenshots? -
A-1 skyraider...is anyone interested
cam0flage replied to Wick_105's topic in ADDONS & MODS: DISCUSSION
I assume you are referring to the Operation Vietnam A-1 Skyraider? I heard the mod is still alive, but they are keeping a low profile. Try searching for a topic, I'm sure there was one lately. -

I was just about to make a thread about this. Anyway, here are a few screenshots I took from BBC:

I have made a thread about this size problem before. If someone makes BMPs in their proper size, and they have good textures, I would certainly use them. If someone makes new BMPs, please include accurate weapon information like in AaronAsh's armor pack!

Very alarming news . Does anybody have any idea how big warheads these nukes would carry? How many kilotons?

Is that thing called the Russian "afterburner"?

They look great, but how often these guns are actually issued for troops? Just thinking. Anyway, good job! Edit: a word was missing -

I'm not that interested in aviation. Good point. Does anyone have any facts?

I study in a university, therefore I live in this big house with other students. Our house has something like 100 inhabitants. Well, we have 3 laundry machines for clothes in a room down in the basement of our house - there's also a room where one can leave his clothes for drying. When I moved here last October, the two guys who share this four room apartment told me that they always use the drying room, and nobody has ever stolen their clothes. Well, the first time I used that drying room, some sad individual stole my favourite jeans! It's kinda sad that a poor student steals from a poor student. Another thing, when I was something like 14, some Russians guys robbed me at the Central Railway Station of Helsinki. Lost something what would be approximatedly 7 euros these days. Damn

There is a sleeping script available in OFPEC, I haven't tested it myself, but you can find it in this directory. That might help you create some sudden night attacks
-
Those barracks look great! Like I asked before (and thanks to mr. peaknuckle for a temporary solution), are you planning to do any realistic radar equipment? I would like to see a radar like this in OFP. If someone asks, it's a Finnish Defence Forces long range radar. By the way, is it possible to animate static objects in OFP? It would be cool to have that dish turning around all the time

I read from a preview of Suomen Sotilas magazine (a free online sample of this entire magazine can be found at www.suomensotilas.fi), that guys at Utti tested the latter weapon, but found it clumsy to use. However, in a video clip they showed to us in our "kutsunta", there were special jaegers jumping out from Mi-8 armed with P90s. A little weird if you ask me, but MP5s would do more than fine.<span id='postcolor'> As you can read from the units and organization file located here, the SJ will be equipped with a variety of weapons, including RK 95, MP5A3 and a Remington 870 shotgun. As far as I know, P90 is not going to be in the mod. </span><table border="0" align="center" width="95%" cellpadding="3" cellspacing="1"><tr><td>Quote </td></tr><tr><td id="QUOTE">Combat divers - How about our "Navy SEALs"? Since you are going to use Suursaari, this special unit would make a lot of sense in this setting. Of course this is not the most important thing on "Things to do" list.<span id='postcolor'> I don't think these will be included, until someone figures out a good way to have combat divers in OFP. If I remember, this one guy called Walker was developing some kind of breathing system, but I don't know the status of it. I'm afraid it would be very difficult to simulate combat divers, the OFP water being what it is in the current version of the game. Maybe in the future then?

I hope the MiG-21 addon will have some proper Russian missiles, like AA-1 Alkali or AA-2 Atoll.
