    Ok, I have included many fixes and added a system to end rounds and reset the map. East/West score is kept, missions now add to your score. East/west wins are kept and an end sequence is initiated at the end of each round. Rounds end when one team has reached 1000 points or captured all of the towns. Ai is again improved and I assure you, you will die taking these towns

    Just an update, RC5 is being worked on. It will include a major change where the same mission will generate an end sequence and reset the entire map. This will happen when either team reaches 1000 points, or all towns have been taken. It will generate an end sequence and keep track of the east/west wins. The mission will not actually end, but the entire map will be reset. Player scores and destroyed towns will not be changed. The result should be a battle over scorched earth.

    No need for permission, but please send me a copy when your done and I'll post it on the website. UFI - I am working on RC5 with the ability to effectively reset the entire mission while in play, this is a pretty major change so I hope it wont be too hard to upgrade to. The idea is to able to play multiple matches but keep and upgrade rank. It's like reseting a chess board. Also UFI - This is a milsim product being a military member and NCO I am pushing for fun realism.

    Engineers can already build field guns,  and stationary ZSU/Vulcan's are spawned in the towns as part of thier defence.  the funny thing is the rest are all goals I have as well, esp COC addons.  The reason (other than time) that those versions have not come out yet is I have focused development on a non-addon sandbox version to get best deployment.  I would love to see this as a milsiim/clan game, with many unique versions.  I am not adverse to putting custom  modded missions of this type on my site, and will even assist with adding features.  I will work on some secondary objectives shortly, but I am working on a system to reset the mission, without having to leave it.  Enabling scores etc to be kept.  IE all towns/vehicles reset to starting positions and a victor is declared, mission doesn't actually end..  My aim at this time continues to be perfecting the sandbox before adding all of the extra toys.  Something where you wind it up and then participate in the ensuing chaos.  This is a mod for the community.  I notice a number of talented mission makers/modders are on my forum thread, all are welcome to post code, ideas etc or to otherwise participate in this project, just to get manners out of the way.  What I would love if for coders to submit content for this project in a modular form that can easily be added.  Pretty much plug and play. All credits so far have been included.  For vehicle operator specialization, look at the scripts\vecinit.sqf file.  It is where all of that magic happens.  I will keep these ideas in cue and try to integrate them as fine tuning, thank you for the help.

    Ok, the full Sahrani R4 is out. Â I made some small improvements on the way. Answer for 3 sided - that unfortunately means recoding the entire mission. Â I have done it for CTI in the past, but gameplay is dissapointing and the time required to code it is huge. Â I plan on making this a good as possible. Â Though an RTS type mission with 3 sides and the ability to choose peace/war would be very interesting.

    No, RC is much older, RC's where release canidates, R+ are releases, r4 is the latest build I have updated my site to make it easier to find the download section, and have included some screenshots of PVP evo.     Ok, I have released R4 and improved the ai while reducing lag issues. Â Ai are more intelligent now and towns spawn assaults on the enemy as well as maintain thier own defense. Â Ai teams are now set to counter players on the opposing team. Â IE 4 players west, 0 players east, 4 ai teams will start on east for coop play. Â Much improved ai integration, fix to HALO script for west side. Â The more towns you take, the more ai will be fighting from them.

    Ok, R3 is out. Changes to the ai. Ai teams switched to Air Cav Divisions. AI will call in air support using 'carpet bombing' similiar to Realcombat. Garrison ai now have AAA assets (ZSU/Vulcan) Garrison AI small fix, where not cycling properly in R2. Town fighting will be harder.

    Thank you for the help all. I have released South Sahrani R1 on my site. This will introduce major gameplay changes. The introduction of town ai, and a marker system showing you every unit on your side including crew numbers and vehicle type. It will now be much easier to identify user initiated missions and spoil them for the other side. IE defending your convoys. Other imporvements where also made to the ai, and the max ai teams is now only 12. The pilot class has been introduced, who are able to fly mh6's as privates. Initial weapon loadouts are as per class due to that request. Credits go out to all who have posted here. I hope this meets your expectations.

    Ok, my next release is coming out. Â Now every unit on your side has it's own marker and it changes depending on what your driving, indicated passengers in a vehicle etc. Â See the whole war (from your side) on your map. Â Players names are on the map. Â You will now see every unit on your team. It will now be possible to defend convoys etc as enemy players take evo missions. Also, garrison forces have been added. Â When you take a town, a garrision force will patrol and defend it. Release will be posted soon.

    Ok, the plan for right now is I am going to flush out the ai and make it easier to see what is going on, I am also going to add town holding teams from the ai. Quick answer for now, try Sahrani south RC13 for quicker action, also note combat reports on your stats page (top left) that will tell you the grid of fighing forces, any east/west and exlamation mapmarkers that will appear at those locations(briefly) There is a lot of info on that stat screen. The RC's are my release canidates for now, I am trying to mold this into what people want. I keep hearing some of the same opinions expressed, and I am listening. I am happy with the engine performance so far, and plan on tweaking it for a more in depth experience.

    I have released a second version of RC12 confined to southern Sahrani. Â Bases are seperate from the mainland and the action confined to the six southern cities. Â The use of teleport buildings allows the use of island bases, and you can of course fly, halo etc your way into the action. Â Side missions in this actually take place in your enemies rear area. Â This may be more intense than the full island version. You can download both missions now updated to RC13

    Rgr that, RC11 is out virtually identical to RC10 other than a switching warp point as described in the previos post. As for the farp and Bleeding issues, new vers 'should fix that' Â and I am comprimizing on the blackout effect. Â Medics dont work when your really really dying with this script. RC12 is out, I left the death disco till your about to die and checked on those bugs. Hopefully all is fixed now and dying is less annoying Thank you for your help in finding these issues and coming up with ideas.

    RC6 is out with many fixes and the abilty to turn the status menu on and off through a player command. You will now gain points from your ai. note: RC6 repaced by RC7, due to a small fix of the sniper script. RC8 released - fixed additional pathing, mission bug on west and marker bug.     Scratch that, RC5 is out. Â It includes a changed startup with all but carazol claimed and also includes a system that alerts you to combat on the map and on your status screen to easily identify where the action is. I have also taken additional steps to keep fix ai pathing isues.

    Ok, goto the site and download RC4 for a newest copy. There are many fixes and improvements. including ai pathing for the west. Bases are now in a zone defended from enemy players. The status display has been improved with vehicle info and player health info using a bleeding script, see briefing and credits for info on that. Medics just became more important as you will bleed out. Same download location as before, Download page ie updated, but hit f5 is req.

    MFCTI Capture the island

    Hey, Im a former ofp cti coder/modder and like you ive been trying to get CTI back.  Evolution, an excellent coop mission has taken a dominant postition on servers, so I have been working on  a pvp evo with CTI features to bring back the game style.  While it lacks the mhq and base building, it more than makes up for it with Evolution's excellent use of rank and class specific abilities.  Please check out the mission and give me feedback, I would really love to see squad tourny's back in ARMA.  I also recommend Kirrilions RTS4 as it is very well coded and has deep gameplay.  It does lack ai, something I have plan to mod in at some point.  CTI/RTS missions lack steam at this time for becoming as dominant as they once where. Using the architecture from kiljoy's mission I plan to bring in features such as assasination missions (even of players) strategic destruction of bridgeheads and more other refinement of the evo infastructure.
