Don't know why, but the USMC soldier in the Chipper's picture reminds me Saddam
-
about this... http://games.tiscali.cz/reviews/arma/img8.jpg
-
shader 3.0 So it's supported by 6600GT... damn, when I remember IgroMir... there was also PC with 6600GT and it seemed, the game running very well on it, without problems.
-
I tried three different versions of drivers... everytime the same problems. And never had them with drivers on that card before... so I suppose there's just something wrong with the game.

Thats how ArmA looks on your pc ?! Â If i remember correctly radeon9800pro and 512 mb ram ? PS. I love that shot ! My PC specs: AMD Athlon 2.0 GHz, 512 MB RAM, NVidia 6600GT But, I set higher graphic settings for better screenshot looking Anyway usually I'm playing with medium settings on 1024x768 resolution and Framerate is quite good on it However my 6600GT card has problems witg drivers or what, cause i've sometimes the same graphic bugs like had reviewer from tiscali ArmA review So I'm really looking forward to first patch from BI. Hope it resolve my problems

btw these soldiers on my picture are SLA special forces

I've little problems with starting-up the game So screens have little delay
-

-
Ok here's mine If you want I'll post some shots. But don't except something great, cause my HW is not much good (AMD Athlon 2Ghz, 512 MB RAM, 6600GT).

talking about the textures on some tiscali screens (like here: http://games.tiscali.cz/reviews/arma/img8.jpg) ...the reviewer had in the game problems with GFX drivers for his 6600GT card. He mentioned it in the review. That's the driver problem, it's not capture of the game with low detail settings. I'm really curious what will tell me my 6600GT card tomorrow
-
Wow, I didn't know about that vid.. really great progress in the sound.. good job BIS
-
No the only differnce is that the guy on tiscali had problems with graphic card drivers... those tiscali screens without textures aren't about low detail settings, but about graphic bug :-)
-
not just for the graphic... also for the bugs, high HW requirements, big difficulty for non-militarysim players, and not much changes from OFP.

sure it's still 10th November..err yesterday Where did you read 14th November?

XP2800+, 1,5 GB RAM, 6600GT - 800x600x medium settings hum.. is that good or bad? Â I think he could have better settings. Just remember vids from IgroMir... Athlon 3000+, 1GB RAM, and also 6600GT.. and it looked much better than tiscali screens.

XP2800+, 1,5 GB RAM, 6600GT - 800x600x medium settings

Well the reviewer marked ArmA as too difficult and only for military hardcore players which want a realism The game has bugs (and which hasn't ), too high HW requirements (don't know on what PC was review made, but graphic card was 6600GT)
-
That's the problem.. I can't wait even one day more I'll buy it anyway...
-
not only Czechs... Russian and Polish version has SF too
