Blimey! So what does the space bar do now then? -
Dont know if this is the origin of the song but check the following link: Plasma Pong A great little game that looks nice too with the exact music as used in FFUR. i.e. either Thunderbird used the tunefrom Plasma Pong, or both FFUR and PP got the tune from the same place. Edit: aha! in the PP Acknoledgements: Links found on the link above.

ofp.info have got this spot on - good news and bad news. Good news that it has been released even if in an 'as-is' state and bad news that I have drunk too much and have to be up in the morning. Thank you I44 team for your hard work and I hope that this wont be the end.

Interesting screens! Including the first night screen that I've seen and an ineresting respawn screen - looks a bit BF2ish but no reason why shouldn't be fun for a couple of light-hearted games after a serious co-op session.

Mine started having a problem about 2 weeks ago too! Could it be something like a windows update thats changed things?? FYI, I was using a Soundblaster Live (which worked fine uptill recently despite other people having problems). I've tried changing to the on-board RealTek 850 with not much of a noticable difference (yet).

Indeed, and that AI would be one of the last sections to go in.

I didn't That was my point.

BIS released the WWI Camel. Didn't mean that it was to suddenly crop up in the campaigns or anything like that. Just because there are screenshots of various units doesn't mean that they will necessarily appear in the main campaign. Just added content for our benifit. I think this makes sense, im a bit tired.

The search button is your friend. Good luck.

That looks more like an advert made from the box art rather than a new box art. What box art has the release date on the cover? And yes, that is the release date if you live in Germany.

RIP Steve Irwin, a man truly passionate in his work and a great international hero. Australia and wildlife have lost one of their best ambassadors.

And what his answer was to why is Armed Assault CAPT Kanes' secret weapon? Hope we get to see some of the community answers. Knowing the folks in this forum I bet they range from the mundane to the sublime! Should be a prize for the best tie-breaker. Only saying as the probability of me getting the marker right is very, very unlikely. (actually, my tie-breaker was a bit poor too, ahh well) -
Scripted or not, it does seem to be a much cleaner way of getting up and down a building with all the benifits as above - much less polygons and less chance of clipping errors in narrow stairwells. Couple of questions - I couldn't read the text in the video but was there the option to choose which floor he went to or does the lift just go to the top/bottom floor? In real life when clearing a building of enemy troops, would the lift ever be used? Surely there is too much to go wrong such as the lift breaking down or the 'ping' of the lift alerting enemy troops, grenade down the lift shaft etc. Would the stairs be taken everytime? Just asking as I have no idea being a civi and all that. But thats not really an issue - I love the lift! ps, telejunky, that is one helluva lift! pps, I didn't see a sign that said maximum number of occupants / weight ppps, wonder if its a Schindlers Lift......

With the emphisis on Estimated Date!

Ahh, I knoew that I should have added that i'm at work where they dont like me downloading videos. Anyway, sod it, I've taken a look and when they say elevators, they really do mean elevators (as in Lifts). A nice little addition me thinks. It just threw me as the two pictures had nothing to do with lifts.

Couple of pics on OFP.info -> http://ofp.gamepark.cz/news/pics3/arma3381.jpg http://ofp.gamepark.cz/news/pics3/arma3382.jpg And they mention that 'working elevators will be included in Armed Assault'. Maybe i'm being thick, but what do they mean by elevators?

Wow, looks great. Cheers Toaster!

agree +1 something along the lines of what Role Playing Adventure Games have been doing since the begining of time would be great. Managing the kit in-game was probably the biggest thing that I had a problem with in the Resistance campaign. But perhaps this is a Game2 suggestion.

For the past few years PC Gamer (UK) have released a top 100 games list that we've reported on as it made quite interseting reading and Flashpoint has always done quite well (22nd last year if I rememebr correctly). Point being, should we clamp this years onto last years thread, or can we start a new one? Cheers! PS, I don't have the list as yet as I'm not a subscriber. However the cheeky scamps over at PCG have informed me that flashpoint have achieved 'A quarter of a century well'. I take it they mean #25. Well done Operation Flashpoint!

Without going too off-topic for this thread, I notice that Dilbert has solved the problems in the Middle East in his blog. Linky

After much deliberation and looking through the various forums disussing various strategies (the hi-res picture is my desktop wallpaper) I have to admit that I have no idea whatsoever!!! In a related issue check out the following link. The idea being that you click on the various pictures and then it gives an updated picture showing where everyone else clicked. Linky Very psycologically interesting! Point being, after the competition is over, any chance of something similar to see where everyone clicked? Cheers!
