Well i'm not complaining now!although it's still not running 100%.Thanks for that bit of info,i thought i was addicted to the game because i've just spent so much money.But to know details like that means you must be OFP bonkers!

Hello peeps! i havn't posted for a while since complaining of resistance's performance! Well i've now got more memory (640 mb) and a new graphics card (g4ti600).I can now make out a guys face and some writing on an advertising board at the filling station on the first mission when you are going to work(i went on the motorbike).Does any body know who the guy is and what does it say because it's in a different language.

weedmasta,i've posted once or twice on this forum and it seems to me that if you criticize or complain about the game in any way shape or form certain people don't like it and start to pull the thread to bits with stupid arguments or comments!

yep i've got a ligit copy (bought it from EB uk)and it runs like a pile of shit!I think thats because i've only got an average computer and resistance needs a super computer to run properly!

I think BIS may have made a mistake thinking everyone owns expensive super computers,because resistance needs one to run properly!

OK! here's my complaint! Resistance takes a very long time to load a mission,to shut down a mission,to save a mission.ECT,ECT.In fact i can make a cup of tea in the time it takes! My old flashpoint as always run well,i've installed every patch up to 1.46 no problems.I have even done a clean install and i am not a very happy camper.My settings are the same as the old flashpoint,and it states on the box (minimum system requirements are equivalent to original flashpoint recommended specifications).Now my system spec is P4-1.4, 128mb RD ram.Reading through the forums i know more ram is better but how come it ran fine before?

Thats a fair comment!but i,ve been tweaking since the morning i installed it and it still runs very poorly.Do you think i should uninstall and just play the old version which ran fine until i installed resistance?

remortgage the house and go and buy a mega expensive monster computer because resistance seems to require one!

thanks guys i get the picture,if you've not got a monster super computer resistance will run like a bag of shit! BIS should note that most people cannot afford megga bucks for megga computers,and if system specs for the games keep rising not to many people will be able to play games like this and will not buy them!Having said all that it,s still a great game!

yep their is an awful lot of cpu activity,my os is ME,but the point i am trying to make is the fact that the old flashpoint ran sweet on my system and the system specs for this new one acording to the box should be the same!

Years ago i played a game called Hidden and dangerous,a very good game! Then flashpoint came out,the fact that it had an editor and you could down load missions and add ons ment it was better than H+D.Well the other day i bought hidden and dangerous deluxe,it also as got an editor and in my opinion could be better than flashpoint because you feel you are in the period of WWII,and the atmosphere is better.My marks out of ten= flashpoint-9 H+D-10

How do you get to the conclusion that it's (a completley different game) 1-in both games you command a squad.2-in both games you can program your squad through a cammand map or by real time commands.3-both games are war games ect,ect,ect.

Hello fellow ofp players! I have just downloded mission cold mercury,i have downloaded all addons except "asf terrorist units".I cannot find it on the web.can anyone help me,thank you very much if you reply.

I have had ofp since it came out last year it is a very good game(game is not the right word)!I have never had any problems with it or red hammer.This last week however i have installed unofficial missions and a lot of addons. Whilst the missions and the addons are fantastic and make flashpoint more interesting than it already is i sometimes get booted back to desktop during some missions! Two questions i would like to ask fellow ofp addicts:- (1) is this normal with unofficial missions and addons. (2)I have got an awfull lot of addons in the addon folder,does this slow down the game or affect the performance in any way (the framerate on some of the missions drops, also when i save,load or exit certain missions it takes a very long time to do so. Thanks to anyone who takes the time to reply! Â ps the small problems i can put up with because as i have said the missions and addons are fantastic.

How come you are making a big deal about being in the army? I have got 4 mates who have been in the army,now that they are out 2 are on the dole,1 is a taxi driver,and the other is a road sweeper! in my opinion you would be better off getting qualifications for a decent job!And before you all start i have already been their done that and worn the t-shirt,and forgotten things that some people will ever know.And just for good measure done things that would make your hair curl!
