No. this allows you to select groups and give them move orders by using your map. What I was wanting to know is possible or not is can you hit 0-0 to bring up a list of options, then select another option (1-0) to bring up another list etc.

a soviet flag for flashpoint? In the object files. Make a flag and type in it's init field: this setflagtexture "flagname" I think the soviet one is rus_vlajka.pac

I tried the "getin" instead of "land", and it didn't work for me. The chopper still shuts down. Also, the last few times I've tried this method I've gotten varied results. Sometimes the chopper will touch down and shutdown. Other results are that the chopper will touch down, and as soon as it does touch the ground it will take off again towards it's next waypoint. Sometimes it will do the same again, except as soon as it takes off again it shuts down and lands on the ground. I'm going to try and find a way to make this work, but if anyone figures it out, please let us know.

No. I mean the voices used when giving/receiving orders etc. The ones u choose in the player setup screen. The voice sets. Not the sounds used in the cutscenes.

Thanx avon. I use getright too. I wonder what the prob there was. Anyway. The mission is very good. I've only had one attempt at it yet, and only found 2 camps and 2 patrols. I couldn't find a third camp. I gonna keep at it though. You keep at it too cumboy. Excellent stuff.

Yah. I got an athlon 1700(1.5), 256m ram, win xp, and my vid card is a 32m GeForce2 mx400, with the latest drivers. I have the detail and frame rate set at max and using a resolution of 1024*768. Reducing the framerate slider does nothing. I was thinking that maybe it is the vid card before i made this post, but thought I might check to see what other ppl think.

This method worked for me also, and is the only one of the mentioned methods that worked for me, though the problem with this method is that the chopper does shut down. Is there a method that works that doesn't have the chopper shut down, and I would prefer one that doesn't use a scipt. I could write a script to do it, but would prefer not to.

So this missions uses the Laser Designator? I think that is the reason ppl haven't exclusively used the oh-58 in missions yet. I wish BIS would fix the bug with this thing. I hate having to switch to D3D with out hw t&l. I still don't understand how the interface between a program and a video card can cause this sort of bug.

I would love BIS to release a list of all the monologues they have used in the game for in play character voices (ie "4" and "injured" and "ammo low" etc.), so that we can not only have our own faces on our mp character, but our own voices also.

I think that leaning would be a great feature to incorporate into a future version of ofp. It would be very useful, especially to those that play mp. There are many mp missions, ctf and the likes, that are based around villages, and sometimes it would be useful to be able to check around a corner without running blindly, or having to walk out into the open. Even to hide behind a tree and take a lucky shot around it at your attackers who have you pinned down. It could even be incorporated without applying it to a new button too. I was thinking it would be good to have it on perhaps the use key, which is kinda traditional for the lean function anyway, and in this case is the middle mouse button. You could then use the traditional strafe keys to lean, but I was thinking it would also be good to be able to just use the mouse to lean, as you don't generally turn if you're leaning, and if you did you would only really be turning your head, which you could do in ofp by holding alt. What do ya reckon BIS?

I also like tinkering, though I never really have problems with my pute and never need to reconfigure. I built my pute myself, and don't really have much experience with this. Must've got lucky. Only time I've ever needed to fuck with pc's b4 is when I had 98, had to a fair bit, and when I use to lan. Always had to fuck with my 98 machine to get it to work in a lan. Didn't seem to like being moved. And, mate, a pc that u can upgrade when ever you have the cash with almost anything you can think of, and can do much more with than email, chat and play games on is a much better investment than an equivelant of a 2yr old pc, non-upgradable games box.
