I tried it once and couldn't find the first guy after I went to the village. I just wondered if it was worth the trouble of replaying it. Thanks for the replies.

After you take out the second scud and capture the general, there is a mission where you are supposed to meet up with your old buddies on Everon and go to a bar. Does anything happen here? Just wondering if it is worth playing.

That is a good mission. After several tries I layed down in the hallway and took out any nearby soldiers that I could see, then after the bmp went by and stopped near the corner of the house, I ran out and placed a satchel charge on it, ran back into the house and layed on the floor in a room. If you do it fast you can get away with it and not get shot. Then I detonated the explosives and after the bmp blew I ran out of the building and dove into the bushes, took out a couple soldiers that were left after the explosion and made my way back by using stealth. Used the last satchel charge to blow a hole in the fence and get out.

Thanks for the replies. It is curious that in such a realistic game there is no way to drop a heavy item when you no longer need it. I don't know how the AI works here, but obviously in the real world it would slow you down and make you a more visible target. This isn't to say that this isn't a great game because it is.

When I no longer have use for a rocket launcher, how do I drop it or get rid of it?

Where exactly is the base? I have wandered all over and can't find it.

After finishing an early mission in the campaign mode (the mission where the squad exits a personnel carrier and approaches a treeline) when I finish off all the enemy and go to the designated area, nothing happens. Am I supposed to do something else or what? Is a truck supposed to come and pick me up, how do I proceed? Very frustrating.

The truck always gets destroyed, it goes ahead into an ambush.

After an early mission where I approach a treeline with squad, a jeep has been ambushed, I eliminate all enemy and to to the place to be picked up but nothing happens. Also is there a patch that will help and where can I download it?
