Personally i started enjoying Ragdoll when RavenShield was out. It changed the way the terrorists dropped to the ground in such a believeable way, it was amazing. And that was 2003! It's really needed in ArmA.

Oooooh Mulle, that is awesome, thx so much :) The water, the physics, the landscape and esp the diving action is simply awesome! Finally some underwater action - and not possible in other games atm. This is something really unique. @BIS: what were the system specs of the machine running the e3 demo?

Its great because i know what ill get for the money. Solid planning (where my money goes) goes a long way.

Honestly, who cares what addons any ArmA title ships with? If you buy ArmA X you buy a customizable warsim which lets you play any conflict you (and the community) want. It just takes some patience until mods are out or you mod for yourself. Thought even the new guys should know this by now.

MadDogX, dont forget BF3 features Coopmode. 4 player campaign i think. :)

Same goes for the Ghost Recon trailer. Looks like Ubisoft is out of ideas and needs extreme violence to gain some attention / sales. Pisspoor idea btw.

Something i like is the surpression fire effect from Project Reality: if you get shot at in BF3 your view is blurred, making the gunner an invaluable support class. Really like where this is going :)

EA / DICE are doing quite some damage to Activisions rep: - stats for free - BF3 videos on pc - stating that bf3 engine has been developed from scratch to make the most of the best pc gfx cards - dx11 on win7 finally used like its supposed to be

You can play on both sides, so its not entirely evil. Reminds me of the movie HEAT btw. :)

The question is how long can they keep up copying & redoing stuff over & over again. The time will come when all popular series are downgraded into the same boring stuff and then there's no talent in the industry left to invent new quality game series. You can't live on fame forever.

Its great to see they didnt lie to us when stating that BF3 would be more centered around bigger maps with vehicles again, in comparison to BC2 which is more infantry-based.

Yeah, FC3 was a pleasant surprise yesterday i have to say. Comes 2012, so ill keep my eye out for it.

Had to laugh so hard yesterday when watching the blackhawk 'fighting' with numerous Hinds in NY. The rotor blades are scratchin skycrapers, Hind projectiles hit everything inside the BH except you and the pilot still has the time to say 'IM TAKIN EVASIVE ACTION' lol :D Evasive action while surrounded by skycrapers - yeah right

Yup. I hope we get to kill this guy in the most disturbing way ever done in a game. :D Gotta say i'm glad we're back in the jungle though, FC1 was sheer fun. Other games i got my hopes up for: RAGE! W40K SpaceMarine ALIENS ColMarines Batman Arkham City BF3 of course Skyrim of course AssCreed Rev. of course DeusEx The Old Republic GTA5 Phew, quite a bunch. Going to diss GhostRecon and Diablo3, those series are dead. Total FAILs so far: - Microsoft Kinect 'Entertainment' ... errr what if i like holding a remote control? - NFS the run .... pressing buttons to run away from the police is soooo boring. Whoever had this idea should be fired. - Starwars Kinect .... 1 second delay between movement and lightsaber action on screen. Hacking&slashing from cutscene to cutscene while moving things with the force - where's the fun in that? I dont even need a brain for playing this.

Uhm, go to MyOrders on Amazon and click the button that your product (your download) is damaged and you want a refund. Then do what you shouldve done in the first place and buy the games in a real store, you know, packages with real DVDs inside.

The problem i have with a new Rainbow6 is not that its possibly arcadish (compared to the old ones), but that the story is meh. I love games that are believable. Things that matter to me are simply - why am i here - why me not somebody else, or a whole army Therefore all stories that go about an international conspiracy / beginning of ww3 and me being the only guy left to safe the world is utter crap. Why not just hunting terrorist that just want money, prisoners freed or want to blow up something to get attention to spread their propaganda? Why does it always have to be some UBERblown conspiracy, with traitors on your side, etc etc? The missions in SWAT3 were all great because there were just a few guys in a building trying to shoot you, sometimes thats all you need. I'd rather have 5 terrorists randomly hiding in a huge area than 50 guys constantly spraying bullets on me. It's just not believable.

Yeah, OpF worked its magic on me. When i played the latest Medal of Honor i thought 'great sounds, shit game'. Driving around in FPS feels like i'm navigating some fake shooting scenery in Disneyland. What i really enjoyed recently was LEGO Starwars and Pirates o.t.C., maybe its because these games are so totally different hahaha :D
