I think it points towards a cell within Iran that are trying to make Iran great again by conquering its old enemies, hence the Persian references.

I think it's more likely China would be supporting Iran. So you'd end up with a proxy war of Iran (backed by China) vs Resistance (backed by Western powers). Still sounds a bit weird though. I would have thought BIS would go for a more localized conflict, perhaps confined to a Greek island or two. It seems more BIS's style. That's why the Europe Map is throwing me.

Ha, it's not that optimistic a hat. If it is Arma 3 they're working on, i'd still expect a good year or two before release. But here's hoping. @Jakerod, the very same! :eek:

That's a good shout. It would make sense for western countries to try to intervene while avoiding WW3. There would even be an excuse for some cameo appearances. Arma 3 has the potential to be so good. As you can see i'm wearing my optimistic hat today. :)

The game is set in 2500. Miller has to travel 480 years into the future onboard a time travelling submarine (Astute is able to time travel in order to be completed by the time Arma 3 is released) to prevent General Guba from travelling 518 years into the past and invading Nogova.
