I hope that the remedy has me getting another attempt at downloading that file without paying again. I still need to get a response from Softwrap/IDEA, but I will be patient. This is a weekend and perhaps they dont have someone staring at a computer. Come Tuesday and I havent heard a response then I will be concerned. thanks for the comments/support, as always.

I can run many other applications fine, why would this one exe fail because of bad memory? No, IMO its a bad file Downloaded from Sprocket. Another USI member had a successful download of the game, however he never received his confirmation email with cd-key. these two situations do not leave a good taste in my mouth for this Sprocket distribution system. hehe I got the key but no install file, He got install file with no key. Together we spent 86 dollars and neither one of us can play.

I forget, how do you test memory?

the charger, with horn, was made for OFP. For OFP, I made a 'Stuntman' map using those same ramps and the charger, and Zombie helped me to script turbo from the action menu. hehe, laff your ass off.

I downloaded a corrupt setup.exe , when I click on it it says 'setup.exe has encountered a problem and has to close' I have emails to softwrap and IDEA game for support. I will advise you what happens in this situation. suffice to say, I am pretty disappointed

hmm interesting...my score went up nearly a hundred since last attempt? Must be patch 1.01 ! tested three times and this score (3rd try) was average of the three. default Normal settings P4 2.0 ghz 768 RDram Asus GF 5900 128 mb I still have the lowest score on record

Since I have achieved the lowest ArmA Mark score (480) I will give this a try. Tis only a temporary fix until tax refund time

are you just joking, or is there a 'hold breath' toggle or button? I enjoyed the breathing that affected aim and sound, but I dont think I want a button to do what simply being still for a second would achieve as in OFP. Something I will get used to, I suppose.

Expect me and other USI to be online with Armed Assault with the English 505 release. I would buy a Czech version now if my computer was capable of handling the game. My computer barely meets minimum requirements, but I plan on buying a new rig around the New Year.

might wanna read the performance tweaking thread, http://www.flashpoint1985.com/cgi-bin....t=54920 says in there a good fps boost if you DISABLE VERTICAL SYNCH from your gfx card control panel. hope this helps the Germans with their version and its not the 'thing which we cannot speak of'.

As I understand it, you can move the day/night cycle to specific or random times to achieve what you describe in standard OFP mission editing. I know a version of Tequila (a popular MP deathmatch map) with a selectable time and a random weather script, created by {USI}_Zombie.
