One little thing i thought about: The commander of a Marder is leader of the squad (or platoon)and when the platoon fights on foot the squad leaders and the platoon leader disembark too (except the oldest Sarge, he´s too old and sends a younger soldier of his group   ). Questions is: Would ppl like it realistic? Assuming the use of SABOT, every hit in side or back, whether from an old ( T72 / M60) tank or a modern would destroy the tank. Then, modern vs modern or old vs old tanks would kill each other with the first hit even if it comes to the front armor (think about the distances, its not 2km here, its 300-500m). The only possibility for the player to get a "second chance" would be to sit in a modern tank and get hit by and old one at the front armor. I dont think that ppl would like that. Dont get me wrong, i like realistic gaming but we would make the addons "unusable" for most ppl imho. greetz [76]Chavez

Are the Mi28 and the Ka50/52 comparable? I thought the Hokum was more a hunter against enemy choppers whereas the Mi28 is a tank killer with AA just for self defence.

I dont find diving that hard with the G3...but try swimming with a MG3 G3 is a accurate weapon and its even against its reputation quite reliable. In bargain its not hard to clean imho,its just the drill instructor who finds dirt every time he looks for it so you got the feeling its hard to clean The sight is imho the best iron sight avaivable altho I would prefer a scope.

OpF is about some theoretical war between West and East...so why should I be affected by the war in Iraq? i am a soldier so I thought about killing when i chose my profession... I dont like this war but it wont decrease my fun in OpF games. only thing that brings me to play OpF less now is Raven Shield

Fighter pilot´s test arent´t that hard. Just be cool at all times and ya got half of it. I would join the navy, there you got the best options, flying Navy from carrier´s, fly Marine Corps AH1´s (hey,still the prettiest ) or you can join the Marine Corps as grunt or the Navy as SEAL... So you got many options there and they are all great greetz Chavez

They are supposed to shut down right and left eye in turns...but they dont do. They dont even flicker....

As I recall from an article of the "Spiegel" they did a research about this and at the height of CW it would have taken the sovs 48 hours at max to occupy Germany, France and stuff (not sure about sweden...). IMHO I also think that the sovs would have been unstoppable without nukes (and no one wants to use those!. The sovs would suffer quite high losses but they wouldnt care as they got much resources. No we can´t take our weapons home. The G36 isnt that good. its totally overpowered in OpF as you kill with one shot but you need some more shots with the G3. IRL it hasnt enough power IMHO (as mentioned before). A G36 in 7.62x51mm cal. would be nice I guess... I´d prefer the G3, too. Then to the original question: I prefer single shot. Exceptions are fighting in enclosed spaces (against surprisingly appearing enemies) and for the "Z-Schlag" (some kinda move to hose every part of a room with bullets before entering through the door) and firing the MG3 PS: Not every naval soldier can´t hit anything
