What does the media not vilify these days? I'm still waiting for Fox News to label video games like Black Ops the sole reason for armed robbery after that recent incident. :rolleyes:

The campaign's still progressing, just don't have a huge amount I can physically show you guys at the moment. Progress may slow over the next few days due to Black Ops being released, but it won't stop. ;)

Meh, I rarely look for anything "accurate" or "realistic" when playing games other than Arma 2. Still, quite a funny mistake, one that only a true gun enthusiast would probably pick up on. :p My copy of Black Ops unlocks in exactly 2 hours. Love how not only Activision seem to hate PC gamers by delaying its release on Steam long after its release on consoles, but they also hate PC gamers living in the Middle East by making it delayed even later. It'll be 6PM my time when it unlocks. :butbut:

That's most likely because you don't actually have to. I rolled back fine simply by renaming 74858's beta folder to beta74858 and renaming my beta74630 to just beta. I'm pretty sure you could have also done as always - deleted the latest beta folder and installed the older one. Nothing about the core game files have been changed for me, as per usual. Besides, you're signing onto this "beta program" willingly. They are betas after all. If something should go wrong, it's a beta. Don't want to risk it - don't use the betas.

Just because they edit stuff without permission doesn't mean they don't respect you. I highly doubt any of them are deliberately undermining you. All they have to do if they find stolen work being published on this forum is PM the person responsibly asking for an explanation, and if that doesn't work, then inform us moderators and we'll deal with it, usually by closing the thread and removing the download link(s). If it's on another forum, get in contact with its administrators.

No one here has said they don't respect any addon maker's work, Mark. I am confused as to why people here are still making such assumptions since there is nothing here to suggest it. Is it because people disagree with your opinion that you believe they suddenly don't respect you? People are, simply, genuinely concerned with the probable negative repercussions of addon makers starting to lock their PBOs from the public.

cpbo should integrate itself into explorer once you run it once so that when you right click on a PBO you should get the an option saying "extract PBO...", and when you right click on any folder you should get "create PBO".

Under XP they should be located at: C:\Documents and Settings\<your name>\Local Settings\Application Data\ArmA 2 OA It's a hidden folder so you'll either have to unhide all hidden folders, or manually navigate to it by editing the address line in the explorer window.

You should be able to find the latest version of cpbo here, Ben, along with a bunch of other pretty useful tools for editing from the works of Kegetys. :)
