uhm? The weapon aiming animation is universal, its the same on every weapon. I've got a nice anim, that im keeping hidden till my campaign (unless the author releases publicly). Its nice adds alot to the game for just a single animation. -ZiRo

uhm -since when does ofp change the hud? Apart from the spectate thing. i remember the code blue demo - i nearly died with disappointment. -ZiRo

My thing only replaces / adds units to make it a bit better looking, nothing in the addon is changed, only stuff is added - that looks better, it doenst work any better. EDIT: Oh and in the next version of WGL i'd like to see more variation in small arms. -ZiRo

Yay, cant wait to use these in my campaign. Is it just me or is there a bug with all of the signals - they give a empty1 not found error. the BM21 isnt very useful other than somthing pretty for cutscenes, the ai cant use it, players have a hard time using it(smoke clouds view of impact). Maybe with some ingenuity i can get it working like the wgl mortars. I am definatly having a scene where russian Military fire crew coming to put out a chem fire with sirens going :P -ZiRo EDIT: Mirror (Europe) - Active as of 23:30 GMT

Enter the WGL. Thats gonna be Angus's next post. I think War Games League has objective based missions - although i could be wrong. I remember playing with SWAF, a covert group was taken aside to act as an "enemy" it was all secret and we had to pretend we were chinese - lol. One of us was the server host - so he had a ping of about 12 so he nearly got rumbled. We had sort of a campaign of missions accross everon. It was great, one mission PLA had to attack a base that was guarded by some SWAF, and some more SWAF in a chopper to support, they totally messed up the chopper, they landed in open ground and got slaughtered. -ZiRo zpcstrike@hotmail.com << rc contact me

rgreenpc: you should love the mortars, theyre ace when you know how to use them. I like using them by estimating and using the compass. I love everything about wgl its great. If you have more than like 4 players, playing a search and destroy mission with lots of foliage (titan or gaia) its great to have a mortar set up to provide mortar fire incase large number of enemy encountered or under heavy fire etc. I just need a squad like that to do it with. -ZiRo

hey, thanks for the observer, and i didnt miss the point, i just changed my mind about what i wanted. Im gonna rip it apart and check how you made the observer see further, then reconfig some units. -ZiRo

/me looks at the WGL team slowly being put off the idea of 5.0 Your asking for stuff that is pretty hard to do - they already have a ton of stuff they want to impliment in 5.0 They're good ideas though. Also the addon thing - yeah ok, but do you really think addon teams are going to jump at it? "im going to make this addon for WGL especially". - Nah And the comment about my confg- yeah it overwrites, but thats only because i really couldnt be arsed to have extra bugs to sort out :P that and i was told you couldn't inherit from other pbos' cfg's. -ZiRo

No, i havent tested it but you should be able to set up the mortars just like you do in WGL normal, just add ZIR XXXX Mortar Gunner, Assitant Gunner and Ammo bearer's - Assemble the mortar and off you go like in WGL. I don't see any problems with this because i inherited from the Default WGL Men. Also: Don't try using a ZIR XXXX Mortar if there is one, it probably wont work (i cant rememebr if i configed one, i got bored and just redid a whole clump and didnt really check what i was adding) Note: I have found a small bug in the pack that affects Multiplayer, i'll post later on today about and updated .rar, so if your interested in this thing just keep ur eyes out. I managed to reconfig a default unit. + i just relised i havent used half the updated configs, just mine are the latest configs > gah! Sorry for mess up, will be fixed tonight. -ZiRo

This config actually uses the units you mentioned as WGL men. Adds loads of units to the editor, exactly the same as WGL units, just with different unit models, two of which are BAS Delta's and Marine Assault Pack. -ZiRo

because the dust effects are probably assigned to the ones dropped from the plane. not camcreated ones. I dont see the logic but thats the only explanation that i can think of. -ZiRo
