Yes, That is the plan. As he has shown in the plan he has written out. I Don't really know a map with such a massive area for these ships though. Or do I? ;) -

The little prop on the nose was a generator propeller that was used to power the Me-163's generator. This provided electrical current for the aircraft systems (slightly sketchy if you ask me :P) -

yeah i think it would. Then again a decent covering or the Mediterranean theater would be a first as well. well we could say that for a whole bunch of things in the gaming world i guess lol -

We will be trying to cover each theater as much as we can. So i wouldn't write it off :D -
Haha Thanks for the redirect PacUK Loving the video btw i quite like the sounds in the video to be honest,Don't see what the problem is. As i recall the Garand was gas blowback operated, So didn't have the sharp crack of other rifles of the time (Mosin,Kar,Enfield) As a lot of the energy was used to cycle the action. So in my opinion it has no need to sound like the arcade cannon sounds most games end up giving weapons. Hollywood < Realism Keep it up.

Very Nice Firewire. Looking forward to updates in the future. -
Will my PC Run this? What CPU/GPU to get? What settings? System Specifications.
Enigma85 replied to Placebo's topic in ARMA 2 & OA - QUESTIONS & ANSWERS
It's Definitely a Bang for the buck. 1500 is the max im playing with and with an i7 quad core it takes a large hit to the budget and 6 core and your looking a half of my budget gone. Good thing about the cooler as well, Forget my OS lol :D Also although arma is high on the list it really has to be a jack of all trades. It can't just be great and games,But suffer at decoding/encoding/compiling/archiving/rendering and so on. Hence forth why I'm wondering if it will play arma 2 at a decent rate without being damn ugly or stuttering at 10FPS baring in mind it will probably be played on a 1200 x 1024 17" LCD for a good few months whilst i gather money for a new screen -

Wrong game, Oblivion is that way ------> on topic will you be implementing a full setup of infantry, naval, air force and armor or are you concentrating more on the infantry side of the war? -

Thank you for clearing the issue up Waxbutter. Rip did discuss the matter with you but the answer we received was all FoW content will be removed prior to release. This wasn't satisfactory as the community was still viewing un-released FoW assets that they would see and HitP work. Regarding permission,According to the involved parties the issue was the fact that permission was given whilst you were in the mod (Alper) I'm not sure about Troc's permission but i gather that he'd said he'd help. Not donate the model's that were for use in FoW. Anyways it's all in the past now. Hopefully now we can look over the past and start a fresh. Thanks again, Enigma -
Nice model. Can't wait to see this progress further :)

Great Work Racs Team. Loving the new screens, And looking forward to seeing the RACS back in the thick of things and hopefully still not being as useless as they were in Arma Vanilla :D Keep it up

Not a problem, Taking a small amount of time to speak with the community is very rewarding for me.:) And seeing players enjoy the work we do after then release. makes all the time we spent worthwhile. Don't think twice about asking questions in the future. I'll be glad to answer. E. -

Enigma85 replied to mr pedersen's topic in ARMA 2 & OA - ADDONS & MODS: DISCUSSION
Well correct. If however this hadn't been completely ignored. Forum Rule §20) Posting addon/mod other content without permission For many years this community has been known as the premium addon/mod creating community, people work tirelessly and in great detail to create fantastic addons/mods/missions/campaigns to release for free so that everyone benefits, including Bohemia Interactive. There are a few simple rules in place to provide the respect to these creative people/groups that they deserve: The first and most fundamental rule is that you must seek permission to alter someone's work, to mirror it or use it in any way other than for personal use. No permission, no editing, no mirroring, no adding to your mod pack, no editing and sharing around your private squad, none of that is acceptable. Obviously we cannot unfortunately control what people do outside of these forums, however on these forums you must follow this rule, if a person/team post a thread to share an addon/mod using content from someone else without permission and we receive a complaint then the mod thread will be closed until the issue is resolved and the forum member(s) risks being permanently banned from these forums for taking someone's work without permission. This isn't just limited to re-using content in addons/mods/missions however, it's not acceptable to edit someone's work without permission and then to post screenshots of it on the forums (even if the edited addon/mod is purely for personal use), it's also not acceptable to edit someone's work, or use someone's work in any way that you don't have permission for and then to create videos which you post on these forums, doing any of the above without the permission of the original creators risks a permanent ban, for individuals, for whole mod teams or squads. -

Regarding the Campaign. At the minute the campaign isn't under construction. With all team members concentrating on the mod elements and maps the campaign will take a back seat until mod elements are finished and testing and fixes are all finished. Then work will turn to building MP,Co-op and SP missions. Warfare/Evolution Co-op's could be on the card with a persistent war being fought over the massive Normandy with all sides fighting to take and hold towns or counterattack after losing ground. -

Hi Bummer, I'll try to answer your questions as best i can :) 1 Has this mod been abandoned since the split in modders with the addition of HIP? No the mod definitely has not been canceled. The mod is still in full swing and the team are currently working hard on the Normandy phase. The loss of 2 members really didn't do much to anything the community would have seen for a while as they were working on there own pacific section while the majority were working on the current phase. The only difference really being for the community is that you will have a pacific mod sooner,But without the support of the Fields of War team behind it. 2 is this mod still going the pacific route or is that no longer an option? Yes, The fields of war team will still endeavor to cover the most costly war known to mankind in as much quantity from start to finish as humanly possible. Yes we are aware this will take a long time. But at the end of that time. we hope to deliver to the community the most in depth and plentiful WW2 mod seen. So Yes pacific,Africa,Mediterranean,Eastern,Western. All fronts will be covered in due time. 3 what is the future prospects of FOW going forward?? The future holds much for the fields of war team. And also for the Community. the Fields of war team are concentrating on providing a much more robust experience than before in our mod. with several modules included in the mods release. Including custom effects and sounds, penetration and artillery modules as well as many more new goodies I'm not in a position to disclose at this second :P. As for the next phase after Normandy has been finished and polished. Well The bulge and market garden might be on the cards. But who knows :D If you never ask, You'll never know ;) Enigma -

At the minute in time said armor system is still being refined. And as such releasing the finalized configured armor pieces would be pointless. as has already been stated the documentation will come before released and in one single document. Release armor system here,Class list there,Mag and weapons class somewhere else and everything in dribs and drabs is just an effort in futility. One document. When it's done. hopefully,End of discussion. -

At the end of the day we're open to co-operation, But saying just take a little bit of time out of your day to configure all the invasion gear to your armor penetration systems/weapons configuration/artillery module or vice versa - invasion doing the same to ours is under playing the enormous job at hand. It would take a huge amount of time to fold either mods configuration into each other.and that amount of time taken out of someones schedule at a time where we're working on so much stuff just isn't right. If someone wishes to see a interoperability patch to make them work flawlessly together,Then it's there prerogative to approach both teams and get permission to do so. As rip said we're open to idea's and suggestions about the mod. But in my opinion. The choice between expanding the mods content and working on reconfiguring others work to fit in. I personally would rather see more content. -

The Cromwell Was never meant for release. As i and many people have said. It was the screen that was posted for reference to how a detailed texture makes a massive difference to a model. anyways. Forward and not one step back from now on.
