I've been getting that face mutation too. Only noticed it so far on the Avgani map. It didn't happen the first time I played with the ACE mod on that map but seemed to develop after a few games. Don't use the profiler - change the setting in the in-game options screen like the other guys above said. I use the pinky switch to change weapons. Button 3 - map view Button 4 - GPS Button 5 (I think - not at my pc right now) on the left side of the joystick - set to scroll through and select targets in the radar The fire button with the cover - i have this one set to 'eject' :-) Scroll wheel on the throttle is set to scroll up and down the action menu with the button next to it for the left thumb set to action the selected item on the action menu.

It's a nice addon but why do the insurgents seem to be armed with FN FAL rifles rather than AK47s?

That's ridiculous! The ability to fight battles that never happened in reality, and to match armies that never fought each other, is one of the most interesting aspects of wargaming (being generous to ArmA for a moment by calling it a "wargame"). Well whatever floats your boat pal. Personally, since I've been playing OFP/ArmA since the OFP demo came out in 2001, I'm starting to find the Soviet/Russian thing a little samey. Maybe that means I have a short attention span or something A bit of variety helps with retaining interest doesn't it?

This is great it was one of my favourite maps for OFP and I hope the bugs get fixed. But we need a Taliban /opium warlord addon!

So c'mon guys why's there no Taliban addon? You know you want one - especially now that CAT Afghanistan has been ported from OFP. All this 'faux' Soviet/Russian stuff in ArmA is just soooooo dated now that we all know the Cold War never went hot.

I have to say, as a former VBS1 player, I really like the sound of this ACE mod and I can't wait to play it online :-)

I use the X52 PRO HOTAS setup in ArmA along with a TrackIR. It works very well. It's just a shame I can't use my rudder pedals for flying the helos and jets as well! :-)

I use the Saitek X52PRO joystick/throttle stick along with Saitek rudder pedals. It would be really great if ArmA could be patched to allow pedals to be used for controlling the helos and fixed wing A/C. It would be a nice touch of realism.
