    How to add ARMA2 content into OA

    Hey guy's, I wondered. How can i use all the ARMA2 content in Operation Arrowhead. Or the other way around?? It only inheeted my profile and settings. Is that normal? Or do you have to do more to use all the original ARMA2 content. I tought it would go automatically.

    Hey man. How did you get the R3F arty to work on Isle Duala. I can only get accurate shots with Map click on Duala. When i try it manually the Latitude position is totally wrong. I also confimred that with the map click. When i use the map click it register a totally different coordinate than when i just look at the map. But with map click it hits the target with the wrong coordinates. But when i enter the right coordinates it will totally mis. I try'd tod ownload your map to take a look at it, but the link doesn't work anymore. Is there a possebility you can send me a fix?
  6. Thanks for the response man. I'm gonna check it out tonight. PS i still have my dedicated serer problem. When i host a game myself everything works correctly for everybody. But when i put it on our server i can't pick up the satphone or load it. Also ic an't pick up certain objects like Road markers, fuel drums.. and a cople more. All the sandbags, static guns, bunkers, tank barriers and flag poles are working. Also my mission is on Duala. And have problems manually putting in coordinates. When i click on the map it works fine. Unless you are on a D-30 on top of a hill.I try'd to find the solution. But what do you mean check your installation and configuration? Most of your explanations in your scripts are in French. So its diffecult to me to find my way around it. Or is there somebody that can help me fix it? Greetings Winchester.

    Please somebody put the full script in this post how to fix the UAV for a dedicated server. I am looking for a solution for over a year now. It owuld be awsome if i and others who want to use this have a full solution at the end of this post.

    LOL i agree... I have been trying to get the UAV working on a dedicated server for a year now. All the info i looked up about it didn't work at all or only partially. I wished somebody made a script pack for the UAV that is as simple as placing Norrin revive, Mando Missile or R3F Artillery.

    Hey Mando, Is this hitch script allready converted to ARMA2? I was wondering cause ic an't find any hitch script for ARMA 2 around here. And yours alway's works better :)

  12. I used gunterlund his solution. And now the arty computer works and i can send fire mission orders to the artillery itself. PS: there is one space to much in your code check it. Here is the fixed code without the extra space inbetween ouvr ir_dlg_saisie_mission.sqf: ((Hmmm i noticed that the forums put in the space there itself. When i'm editing the post the code looks fine. But once you save it the space comes there. Atleast for me.) But now i have the same problem as him. I can onl reload the ammo when i am at the satellite phone. But the problem is i can't move that thing around our load it in a vehicel on our dedicaed server. I try'd to force it by editing the "force command" where you can disable the load and drag options. It was just a wild guess that it might work like that.... But i was wrong :) And about the PLA stuff.. your right. When i load the mission with no PLA mod loaded i can still play it. But it gives me a qucik message that i have a ACE_PLA version mismatch and that ACE_PLA is not loaded. It doesn't cause any problems but i would like to get rid of it. I checked the mission.sqm but no luck there. Can somebody test this mission for me (Updated!!!!): http://rapidshare.com/files/396680692/Co12_TFA_Desert_Rumble.isladuala.pbo.html I plan to make it Team VS Team once i got the arty on dedicated server problem solved and the problem that if i join in progress and the mission was set to night the guy that joins will have daylight.
  13. Hey Tromac... I still have the same issue's with the mission i made. Still can't open the arty computer at the sat phone. And still can't pick up road signs, fuel drums and chairs and tables from our dedicated server. THe weird thing is that the demo mission that comes with the script pack also doesn't work on the dedicated server. But besides of all above issues i can still TOW the arty and load in ammo crates,sandbags and static weapons etc.. Also PLA is not loaded on my mission. I checked the mission.sqm and i started the mission without the PLA mod. There where no problems there. I also followed your advice to delete the sqs file. I renamed it and put it into another folder in a inactive state. That didn't help also. I can't imagine its the server. We running only ACE and never had problems with any missions before.
  14. Thanks for your qucik answer TROMAC. I will test it right away. But there is one problem. I kind of need that .SQS file. Otherwise my weapons will not respawn. Anybody has some suggestions? And thansk gunter. I will try that also. But the radio packs are in crates. Need to find a way somehow to put them on the ground.
  15. And is there a possibility that i can get the artillery only working when a guy is carry'ing a ACE Radio. "ACE_PRC119_MAR". Any help on this is welcome. I want to make it that the radio man with that ACE radio can also relay the target coordinates directly to arty pieces. I hope i'm not asking to much... But i have been working all day implementing scripts and things into this mission. Revive scipt and such..... I'm so close to finally finish a mission. But only the dedicated server problem with the arty is holding me back now. Atleast the waiting lets me finish some details with it. Greets from Holland.
  16. Hmm for 2 months i have been trying so now and than to get the ARTY to work on a dedicated server. I'm not using specific Addons. Only ACE. And Isle Duala. When i run your Demo mission and my own mission with your script pack on a Hosted client everything works fine or when testing it in the editor. (tested on Duala and Chernarus) But when i run your demo mission and my own mission on a dedicated server there are 2 things not working (also on Duala and Chernarus and any other Island) : -You can't pick up any fuel drums, tables our chairs. The actions are not there anymore. -I can't use the artillery computer or pack the artillery computer. Both actions do not appear on a dedicated server. #This is both with and without the ACE_Config.sqf Everything els like transporting,loading and towing works on the dedicated server. And i can go into the Arty and see the fire computer there. Is there any way you our somebody els can help me with this. I also checked my .RPT file. I don't know if this is helpfull our even relevant to this. I just include it just incase. If you like can you take a look at my mission. You would make me a very happy man.     ANNOUNCE: PVP script pack released

    OK now the setup works... Thanks for that. I downloaded it from another website than Armaholic this time. But now another question.... Where can i find the Script pack that i have to add to my mission. I can't find it anywhere. The install only exists in my start folder Roaming profiles. And thats only 1 file, the exacutable. I know my way around windows and Basic ARMA editing... But this setup is verry unclear to me. Where did the script pack install?? I really want to use this.... cause i think its a fantastic tool. Maybe i missed something with the installation?? I also wanted to ask you a cople more things.. Things about the variety of the PvP missions. Cause i want to make something different and more team based TvT missions. Is there a possibility you can look at the list below and tell me if this is allready possible with your script pack or you might support it later in future versions. 1- Objective based PvP missions: -I really would like this option to make some uniq PVP missions what requires team work and a more realistic setting. Example: First you have to take out 3 SAM sites with your special forces group. After that is done you proceed to the main target Find the Scud (can be anything) and call in a Airstrike on it. (Respawnable F-35 becomes available when the firts 3 objectives are complete). The opposing force its role is to defend the objectives at all costs and prevent the destruction of the Scud. And a script when the misison starts the defenders can place the objectives where they want in a pre-defined area to keep the mission more interesting everytime. Some more scenario's: 2-Hostage Rescue: Enemy guards can pick the spot where to respawn the hostages when the mission starts In a defined area. And when the Friendly rescue operators approaches them a action will pop up for only the rescue operators to make them join your team. You than have to extract them to a pre defined area. 3- VIP Transport from point A to point B. When reached the mission will end. 4- A possibility to make objects hardcoded on the map a objective also. (Like the bridges on Namalsk and the radio towers and bunkers around Isle dualla). 5- Certain stages in objectives. When objective 1, 2 and 3 are killed, destroyed, rescued 3 more objectives will pop up and respawn area's will shift together with the objects of your base. 6- Some kind of Blackhawk down script. When you start the mission you can choose your crash site in a pre defind area. When thats done the mission starts and bluefor has to extract you out and OPFOR has to capture you or kill you. (The pilots can be AI aswell than offcourse the mission will choose its own random crash site position) I'm not asking you to make these missions... But a way to make them more easy to make with only placing markers and pre-made triggers (commands). I'm asking this cause for a long time now i have been trying to make such missions.. Only to seem them fail in a Multiplayer enviroment or some script i can't get working. Many hours i have been wasting making such things... Most of them where fun to play.. But had some game breaking bugs and errors so i could never played them as they where ment. Things as UAV support and arty i can put in the mission.. But with making the rules/score board for the objectives and more advanced events when objectives where reached i alway's failed. I ask you this cause i think your the proper person to do such thing and you understand the importance of PvP in ARMA. I am willing to help whenever you need it... But remember i'm not a advanced scripter.. I mostly use templates and the ARMA forums about scripting and commands. Copy and pasting and editing small parts of scripts. I am no stranger in the editor and know basic things about scripts, triggers and modules. And i am good in making up story's and making up game modes as you see above.

    Hey thanks for the PvP wizard... But i have one problem. I can't use the setup file. It say's not a valid win32 application. Is there a fix for that???? I'm running windows 7 64 bits.

  21. 9th Infantry CTF night on Thursday 29th of April. Hey guy's, I would like to organise a Classic game of Capture The Flag on the 9thInfantry server. It will be open to all 9th and Public. Because there are not alot of PvP servers around with ACE weapons i made myself some quick CTF maps that uses a different Island than Chernarus and the ACE weapons and wounding system. These CTF maps are made on different locations on the Isle of Duala. All ACE weapons and other gear can be used against other players. So evrybody get their gasmasks to work :). For now i made 6 maps. 3 maps are at daylight and the other 3 maps are exactly the same accept for the Night time. One of those maps are close and tight CQB trough the towns of Duala. The other 2 are a little bit bigger.     9th Infantry CTF night on Thursday 29th of April.

    My interests are with capture the flag that uses the ACE addons... I have been using standard weapons since OFP and never had a good Team vs Team experiance with mod weapons or vehicels. I myself would like to see more Team vs Team games that uses the ACE mod and the islands. I also don't like those really small maps what most people play when doing CTF's or Team vs Team deathmatches. But thanks for inviting me to your tournament... I might take a look someday when your using mods.
